Choosing of Venues
I'm in the coordination phase of my date planning with a chick. Unfortunately she lives on the other side of town and wants the date to be closer to her place. I've had no problem in the past having chicks agree to my venues. But in this case is complying to her demands of choosing a place in her sector a way of falling into her frame?

Potential red flag? I was thinking of doing a compromise of getting her to buy me the first round of drinks or so to at least get her investing in me.

Thoughts?

Don't "over-alpha" this one: just get her on the date. Don't bother having her "make up for it" and get the first round UNLESS that's what you typically do.

Maybe you'll get over to her place after, or move to a venue close to yours. Or not. Whatever you do, escalate. Better to end the date with her saying "nooo can't go home with you", and save it for the next date, than to peter out or not try, or blow it by making a stink about venue.

Just meet her there, and then be late

Yup show up late, getting her out is more important, if you tried to have her fall into your frame and she countered with closer to hers, it's not a big deal.

Typically the girls I set up with aren't that far and I'll sell them on my regular bar.

If I get a bit of LMR about coming to my area, I guilt them a bit, by saying I drove 2 hours from the opposite direction to get home, I'd give this a 60% passing rate.

It's not a big deal, don't over think this, remember, cool, calm, collective.

Remember, she counter and she wants to hangout, go and game her. Good luck !

RE: Choosing of Venues
Having the date near here is not a problem when:
1. She doesn't live with her parents
2. Its a place you can go back to for a bang

Her not willing to travel can be a bad sign or maybe shes just lazy

Typically you choosing the place is better since you have an idea of how to make it all play out to your advantage. You should be spending 10minutes to plan this if you don't know the area. But like others said just get on the date.

I don't understand or see the point in showing up late. I guess if you are in the West/America girls like the douches? Show up when you get there no point to pretend you are busy, be 10 minutes fashionably late at most.

If you want her to pay for something just make jokes like she wants you as her sugar daddy or whatever. As long as you don't make it weird its never a problem getting a girl to split the bill. Only time I will let a girl pay for everything is if she beats me to it and refuses to let me pay but this doesn't happen often for me.

To me it's not a big deal if she wants to meet close to her place on the first date. I used to ALWAYS go for the bang on the first date without exception but lately I'm more picking my shots and only going for the first date bangs if it seems like a sure thing, otherwise I set it up for a full court second date press. If you go this route it plays into your plan by you going to her on the first date and then you can pretty easily get her to come to your neck of the woods for the second where you will smoothly invite her back to your place to see some "really cool xxxxxx"

Agree with others. As long as it's close to either yours or her place, it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Walk her home at the end of the night, and then ask to use her bathroom.
