I don't ever agree with people in the subject of competition. I don't understand why exactly but I never think in those terms. I hardly ever pay attention to what another dude is doing/ saying/ looking like... it just doesn't mean anything to me. Sure I am good at human interaction naturally but I can't be bothered unless a dude physically touches me. Some of my friends who are great with women get hung up on what other people are doing. Especially dudes. Why they care or pay any attention I'll never know.

I stayed in Belgrade a little over a year ago for a month. My apartment was $500USD, but it was right in the city, fully furnished etc, and I didn't have a lease or anything.

As far as quality, IMO Balkan chicks are the best in the world and Belgrade is the epicenter. Other tidbits from my time there:

-Belgrade has the most 8s, 9s, and 10s in the world per capita. It's a small city, but it's crawling with smokeshows.
-The average income there is very low. It doesn't make sense since the girls all have designer purses and are always dolled to the nines. I asked this question a few times while I was out there and the response was that girls literally spend all their money on fashion and cosmetics.
-Living expenses outside of nightlife is very low. Fancy restaurants were very inexpensive, certainly cheaper than Budapest or Bucharest.
-The city is really small. But there are trams all over the place anyway.
-The climate is crazy. When I was out there the temperate was consisently between 34-38 degrees celsius. Yet right now it's probably snowing.
-I found a language barrier. Less girls there spoke English than what I found in Poland or Romania.
-Vodka and that grape liquor they drink (tastes like shit) are very cheap. Vodka that was comparable to Absolut in quality was around $5 for a fifth.

I don't do much daygame, so I hit the splavs most nights of the week. Drinks are expensive and there are lots of groups so it wasn't too enjoyable rolling solo.

Hitting the splavs with a group of friends, however, would be pretty epic.

+1 for accurate info. Just the last two I can't say is my experience. I only remember maybe a half dozen women (out off 200+) who don't speak English conversationally.

As far as the Vodka I can't say I've ever seen anyone drink that stuff but who knows?

I feel your pain bro! The splavs were my spot for so long now I look back laughing. The key is to find venues that promote mingling. There are many it just takes awhile to find them. I find a new hidden gem in terms of nightlife everyday.

There are conflicting reports in this thread and other archived threads that the local Serbian local male competition is tall and robust, aka "balkan power". My question is, how would a 5'7" guy do there? This is key.

Belgrade is a fantastic city, doesn't attract the same type of tourist crowds as other CE/EE cities do, probably because of stereotypes and a reputation that still sticks around from the Milosevic era.
Serbians on the whole are strong people, the women are beautiful; the men have the whole "Balkan" power vibe going for them but they show hospitality if you meet them on their level. A lot of Serbs are into promoting their country because of the reputation given to them abroad.

Food is good but will give you congestion, and the city has a Mediterranean feel to it when you are there during the summer.

To answer your question my buddy from Canada came and is 5 foot 6 inches. He met and slept with more girls than our other tall friends.

Maybe I need to have some more sympathy for guys concerned about competition because I see guys mention this a lot. For me I think it's an excuse for Serbia. My friend is 5 foot 6 (very short) but has an attitude of not giving a fuck. Never onece did he have a problem with competition. Actually he made friends with a few Serb dudes. Apart from mean looks a Serbian dude won't come and cockblock. So what is the issue here? Do some guys really let glances or a mean look have such a profound impact on them? Don't let things out of your control affect you. Just plow.

IMO the top is a good representation of very average Belgrade girls. Which isn't anything super special. That being said, there are so many more girls like the ones I posted (8 range) than anywhere else I've been. The overall quality here is just nice to be around. Accessibility is half the battle and here they are out in numbers and very accessible.

Look aside though I love Serbian women for their family values. Women are very old school here still. Much more so than Central America, Colombia, Spain.

Do it. I don't know if you are a military guy or what but I've had some old Army buddies come through and they did well. The alpha that goes with being a combat vet seems to be well liked here if you are humble about it. Dudes respect it and girls here seem to like it.

I think the faces I posted are very attractive. The other ones the other dude posted are kind of fugly and below average for Belgrade.

Yea they are too nationalistic to really seem to want to go anywhere. I tell girls I run a company and they know I have money but all the dinners and dates I go on (believe me a lot) I never pay. The check is always split. Very refreshing compared to places like Colombia.
