Betas can have all of these things, and get laid, and be husbands. But sooner or later, as circumstance demands, that Beta nature manifests itself in his daily life, in his marriage, in his raising of his children, and women key on this nature and make the natural comparisons of him to men they know or have known in the past.

All the romantic gestures, all the playing it even, all the "respecting her needs" and being supportive, all the prince charming in the world, wont change the Beta perception her Hypergamy subconsciously understands.

Exactly - we have a friend in our little group of friends who meet regularly from time to time as we are scattered all around Europe in the corporate world.

The guy has model-looks (got offered a contract), has an excellent job in the corporate world and might reach VP level and a 7-digit income before 45, he even seduces girls quite easily. Also he is the boss of an EU country at the company he works for and is very decisive and "Alpha" there.
But the very same guy becomes the Beta around his ball-busting wife. We tease him a bit about it, because he married a "strong" woman who reminded him of his mother and grandmother as he grew up without a father.

This guy has as the example by OP everything going from him and can get laid super-easily - he even has a mistress. But still his wife is unhappy with him.

His sexual market value is now 4 points above hers, so she likely won't leave him, but he is already calculating how much the divorce will cost him.

The problem is, that we know that unless he ups the Alpha, he will encounter similar problems with wife Nr. 2 in the future. Fortunately he is close to the state and can make that happen as a Greater Beta, but how many guys are like that? Most don't accept the Red Pill & others are too far gone. The real-estate guy here - too far gone if he did all that for an uber-romantic marriage proposal - he is way too invested in the Romeo-Rom-Com-feminized fiction.

I had made a thread on those kinds of men. Strong and Alpha in general yet weak around his girlfriend or wife or even women in general. Like some kind of block prevents them from being completely congruent. Do you have an explanation for those kinds of men?

Infowarrior, I have an explanation.

My dad sorta fits the bill, he's not too bad, but he fits it enough.

In my dads case, he just never really had any bad experiences with em. Still married to the same woman and screwed a lot of girls in high school and college so no wondering on if he missed out.

I think it's a combination of forces:

For him it was his strict overpoweringly strong mother and grandmother. His dad died when he was a toddler, so his mother was a real widow. Also the general indoctrination by society contributed to it.

That constant feminine propaganda and my own more Beta-provider father also created the Blue Pill mindset in me for a long time - though with plenty of flashes. I think - I really do - that a dominant masculine state is our natural one around women.

We just have to be taught to treat women a bit differently than our male friends and most men would be doing alright in a LTR - of course if the legal system (no-fault divorce, alimony etc.) would be forthcoming and women were not encouraged to be cock-hopping up until end 20s or 30s. But there is no chance for that in the near future.

Hate to bump this thread but I was watching his marriage show recently and I was wondering why he was even settling down "so early". If I were him I would have stayed single at least until I was 40 and then evaluate again. I do say she is a 8.0 but not much more than that. I still think he can do better and she is just super demanding and bitchy.. The pandering and spending 1,000,000 on the wedding is just a loss of all reality.

Either A: It's bullshit that he's selling, because he wants to have a "personal brand" that is appealing to the white knight mentality most people have.
