I live in a city where there are a good number of off-the-boat Asians but I'm having difficulty meeting them in public. I hear many of them are pretty reclusive, spending most of their time studying or partying with their other Asian friends in their apartments.

Has anyone found a particular place to meet these women? Since many are enrolled in local colleges I thought I might have to start there. Any thoughts on how to initiate conversations and arrange meetups with people with limited English experience?

Libraries. In class. On the street.

I met a korean girl in a gift card shop once, barely spoke english. Opened her with "do you like this card?" (holding up a card with kittens on it), chica nodded yes and was hooked. I met her 2 PM, banged her by 4 PM, and met up with my friends around 5 PM..that was a good day. Believe it or not, the language barrier made escalations easier.
