Maybe even allow a citizens arrest for this kind of thing. It is disturbing how many grown men are out in public rapping about their red bottoms.

Ay - but that assumes that there the percentage of white teenagers are doing as much crimes that can end with getting shot as black teens. And that is a far far stretch that is not backed by reality. Whites will be underrepresented just as North-Asians will be even more underrepresented in that crime statistic.

I could not defend Chris Rock - I just wish the old shows would be out there without too much politically divisive content.

I would defend Dave Chappelle however - he is still a favorite of mine even if he believes some of the leftist propaganda and went even against Donald Trump. Also it is correct that we don't even know if these are his real thoughts - a man has gotta pay the bills and going pro-Trump (or even neutral on Trump) would have cost him too much.

Did you read the study or dig into it to see why they stated that, or did you just call it wrong based on looking at one graph added to that headline as an image?

It's likely you did the latter. That article is about a small sample study that involves putting mostly white officers in a simulator. If you want to read more about it, here's an additional breakdown as well as the actual text of the study. Here's a large sample study by a Harvard professor that's far more interesting/relevant (as it analyzes actual incidents) and the news article listing some of it's findings below:

Yes I read the image because that was what was posted. I have not yet read the second study you posted, but the qualifications and limiting factors identified in the first study explain why the highlighted statement is clickbait at best. But that is to be expected with modern "journalism".

Watching the newest special right now.

I am the lily-whitest bourgeois right-wing guy, and I have always enjoyed Rock. I don't see the cop joke as anything more than a jester's attempt to bring levity to the undercurrent in modern America. It was funny, and it didn't come off as nefarious or malicious at all.

I might be biased because he was a great sense of joy as a scruffy film school student, doing burger runs at midnight and listening to his bits on Charlie Brown and withholding tax in the late 90s.

IMHO Chris Rocks special on Netflix was better than Chappelle's. I liked both.

Rock was my alltime favorite comedian, and I guess he still is, but I couldn't make it through his latest special. Uninspired, phoned-in, pandering to black and SJW audiences. He wasn't always like that. He used to deal with race and politics in an even-handed way, pointing out historical and structural racism while also calling out black people for their own poor decisions. Now it's just "white people are terrible, Trump is terrible, America sucks, it's basically impossible to get ahead if you're black", repackaged over and over into predictable jokes. I guess the divorce was hard on him and he needs to get paid. Pity.
