A bit of an update. Indonesia is indeed a great place to get your braces. In fact, I got my braces girl flag here, and then a second braces girl with a hijab flag as well (already got the hijab flag solo prior to the combo). Braces are kind of a status symbol of sorts in Jakarta at the moment, so you'll see a lot of girls in their 20's with braces and they aren't shy about smiling and showing them.
