Yeah saw it on that kim kardashian dude thing. . .was going to ask there but I REALLY didn't want to wade through 15 posts of people quoting that oversize picture of that dude-girl-thing. . .it was physically upsetting.

It means that Western women (and sackless males) have led such privileged lives devoid of adversity* that they will be "TRIGGERED" into breaking down with oversensitive hysterics by any topic that produces negative emotions or causes the slight bit of offense. "TRIGGER WARNINGS" are used to let these weak-minded people know they should prepare the floodworks while directing outrage at the horrible action (or inaction) of cis white males, and make demands on Big Daddy Government to make things better for them.

The fact that they can waste their time on the Internet posting trigger warnings is a testament to how spoiled they are.

Men on RVF or other sites like the Misc may post trigger warnings in an ironic fashion, to suggest that they did not want to see or hear something (e.g. pictures of fat women).

Yeah that thread definately did "Trigger" me to close it down within seconds of trying to scroll and avoid the repeatedly quoted picture...

My proposed definition.

Trigger Warning. Archaic. n. A term, often affixed as a label, and intended to provide advance notice of an image, idea, or postulate that may contradict or question the core ideological beliefs of so-called social justice warriors (SJWs), feminists, and social Marxists. Inherent in the use of the term is the assumption that the reader or viewer will be provoked to distress, or somehow harmed, by the idea or image. The term enjoyed wide currency in the early 21st century, before gradually fading from popular usage in the 2030s, when it became viewed as a disguised form of censorship.

It's basically the 21st century version of hysteria. Back in the 19th century women would pretend to faint in response to something shocking to draw attention to themselves. Now, they read about PTSD and flashbacks, and pretend to have that in response to something "shocking", which happens to be anything anti-liberal.
