Alright, so, I met a girl through tinder, that LOVES GTA, shooting things in the game, we kept talking, and I asked her if she had an fb, she gave me her fb, we are still friends on fb, she still texts me frequently (both on fb and my phone). She likes to cook as a hobby, I told her I like to as well, took some pictures of some meals I cooked for breakfast, she loved them of course, and would love for me to cook her one of my recipes sometime. Anyways, we got into talk about things we'd like to do, I mentioned fencing, and yah, she likes what I like, she then mentioned skeet shooting, and how she'd like to do that. Now, where I live, it's a good hour plus, to the nearest outdoor range (read: Wisconsin). So I was like, would you like to try shooting some pistols at a local indoor range instead ? (outside the city, in the burbs). One of my friends told me, this is not such a stellar idea for a first date, despite the fact she shows enthusiasm and a desire to go (albeit, she's going to be out of town until next month, because she is an exchange student from the DR). Am I missing something here? Any input on this situation would be nice.

Shooting is exhilarating to a girl, but driving for an hour together with her to go shooting is too far.

You will get her to bed faster via drinks, cooking at your place with wine. Most girls like men who shoot guns, that's why all guys should have a good online pic with them firing some kind of weapon. Doing that for a date is fine, but not when driving for a long time.

If it were close, then yes - fire some machine guns, get her adrenaline up, then later for drinks and sex to let go of that energy.

The close gun range is one of the best ways to get the bang because of the logistics.

-Have her meet at your place since you have the firearms, ammo, eyes, ears, etc.
-Set the plan to get lunch, dinner after the range.
-You drive to the range, her car is at your place
- On the way back let her know you don't feel comfortable leaving weapon or ammo unsecured in the car and you picked up some great (fill in the blank) at the market, and wine the other day.
- Close the deal

Never tried this but was in a similar text situation recently where I was able to polarize the girl and find out that she wasn't truly interested in me. My follow up was "let's part ways."

Very doable with a .22 cal rifle and wet phone books. Use .22 short because it has a very low noise signature, and it's something dangerous that you shouldn't be doing. It can make them feel naughty.
