To compound this problem they also have a slight sense of superiority when often times barely ever having gotten outside SoCal, Vegas, and Mexican beach towns.
Especially whites.
It is a painful cost of the beauty here.
I often befriend non-whites and transplants.
Mixed and minority girls from lower middle class inland cities that don't have drug problems or tatts seem to have the best personalities and are often undervalued for beach blondes.
This hasn't been my experience. Compared to New York, LA, Miami, San Fran, and DC, the white girls here exhibit sweeter personalities, and are acting less pedestalized. Their interests are more down to earth, if a bit more boring.
This is a welcoming city. Random people smile and say what's up to me every day. This never happens in the aforementioned places.
There is no high end scene to be seen with models & 10's. It's a more youthful average age, especially with all the universities around. It's middle of winter too. This place must be some kind of poosy paradise around the bookends of summer.

RE: Daygame in San Diego
I was in SD all last week - stayed at the Manchetser Grand Hyatt (excellent hotel with easy access to the gaslamp - would recommend to those with solid bankroll). The last couple of days, stayed at the Ramada Gaslamp (much more my style, prewar building, even better access to the gaslamp, way less expensive than the former).
Was swamped with work so no chance to game and only went out one night - Friday. Headed to "Prohibition", a speakeasy in the gaslamp - excellent drinks but terrible place to game. Everyone was paired up or in large groups, and the age skewed a bit older, and I was solo. Wasn't looking to game as much as get good craft cocktails and read a book on my kindle app on my phone.
Ended up sitting at a table and as I'm enjoying a Yamazaki and reading, a HB8 blonde walks up to talk. I'm pretty into my book so I aloofly respond but she sits down and keeps talking - anglo-american, raised in dubai, born in HK, uni in London. Pretty interesting mix - we have decent conversation about our travels for 20 mins, british politics, flirt a bit, but she's married and with her husband at the venue so I don't pursue it much.
She leaves for a bit and I'm back reading and drinking. She comes back 15 mins later and before she heads out of the venue she swoops over to kiss me on my forehead as my nose is buried in my phone and waves goodbye. Looking back I should've gotten a number for a future potential pipeline but my mindset was completely not on game unfortunately.
Courage Reborn is right - it is a welcoming city, the white girls while not models all have much sweeter dispositions, will engage in conversation, but most lack deeper substance. I was also surprised, at least in prohibition, how heavy some of the girls were (I was expecting SD to be overflowing with lithe/svelte women and my expectations were not totally met).
I don't think my kind of game would work in places like Fluxx or other club/lounges in the gaslamp where younger, more quality poosy congregates - but I would suggest to forum members that Prohibition is a place where you take a potential date/plate for drinks before a bang - not to come expecting to swoop.

RE: Daygame in San Diego
6. Sidewalk. Half a block away walking towards me I spot a young brunette. I turn my head to the side and avoided eye contact so she could check me out. When we got close I quickly turned my head back and caught her looking. She smirked. I stopped and said "hey". Unfortunately she had bad skin and hot mess makeup. I chatted her for a polite minute about meeting random people on the sidewalk, then cut bait.
7. Long curley leather jacket brunette across the street. I change trajectory to intercept. Feeling more bold. She had a very heavy European accent. Gave me a death stare on her response. I jog off.
8. Trolly platform. A thin high heel wearing brunette with ass for dayz standing alone waiting. I roll up and just stop in front of her with a smirk on my face. She beams a big smile and says "hello!". Swiss tourist chick. Heavy French accent. "Is this a good trolly?" I say really dumb things sometimes when I already have attraction and I know it doesn't matter. Within 1 minute I'm touching her arms, and she's punching me when I tease her for not being able to speak German. I find out which train she's waiting for, read the sign, and do a quick mental calculation. I have 7 minutes to make something happen.
I touch, tease, and get green lights all around from her. I'm having so much fun, I neglect to take her number, or invite myself to the party she's heading to. Train comes and she pouts that she has to go. Instead of following for the ride, I whip out my phone like an amateur and take her number.
9. Sidewalk interception curvy mexican chick in black tights. I'm not that attracted up close, and she was walking fast before stopping. I thank her for the intel and she hustles off.
10. Blonde wearing high top soccer socks. She walks up about to pass me. I turn my head "excuse me!" but she's got earbuds in. She either can't hear, or she's ignoring. I follow like a stalker for another few lights, until 1 turns red, and we're stopped on the corner together. I walk in front and just look at her until she smiles and takes out her earbuds. I tell her I dig the socks, and she laughs. She's older up close that I had thought, and I can't pass a boner test. I eject.
Starting tomorrow, I'm on a strict schedule for work, gym, and approaching.
I'm enforcing a new dinner policy too; to eat out seated at the bar next to other people every night this month. It costs more, but I've met lots of friendly people & bartenders this way. People in SD are so friendly, for a native new yorker it's almost sickening. Love these local people.
