I've met plenty of girls in my life, who knew exactly when they ovulated as their sex drive was much higher then.

The girls however were mostly young, fit & healthy. Possible that most women now don't know due to the obesity epidemic and the big number of 35 year olds, who are supposed to be in their "prime". The pill might also disrupt that awareness quite a bit.

Women know on a subconscious level, when they are ovulating, but not in the 'rational' way that men think.
It's more like they realise they're more horny, but mostly they don't think beyond that to 'oh that means i must be ovulating now', unless someone(usually a man) specifically tells them or asks them why they're horny.

Yes. Of course. Their vag changes, disch**ge changes (I hate that word)...they know. Let's say she's 22 years old...she's probably on her 120th trip of this physiological and emotional 28 day rollercoaster.

However, they don't like knowing they're life is "tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of" menstruation, so they don't believe it.

They know, of course - that cycle is even more predictable when they are on the pill.

There's also been studies that show women tend to look around when in bar/club/party/etc. much more when they are ovulating. It's not deliberate, just hormonal. But remember that next time some woman of breeding age is checking you out and not being shy about it.

Also, when a woman orgasms, her cervix dilates, making pregnancy even easier if you're going in raw. Throw in the release of the hormone oxytocin when orgasm happens and it's what often keeps a woman hanging around. Could be good or bad, depending upon her and what you're after. But unless she's "ejaculation safe" you'd be much better off wrapping it tight.

Girls know because:

1. They count their period.

2. They get more horny and realize "I am so horny - must be ovulating". Some girls are too dumb to make this connection trough and some are in denial (refuse to acknowledge that menstruation/ovulation affects their mood -these are feminist types who want to prove they are as stable as men), but these are an exception.

The thin about women trough is that even if they know they may not smart up and act according to their knowledge. That's because girls are all about social norms and society doesn't teach them to make decisions based from their cycle. A girl may know that she is ovulating and still bang a guy without protection because: A.She subconsciously wants to get pregnant. B.Society doesn't teach her to act on this knowledge. This is a difference between a man and a woman. A man will act upon his understanding of cause and effect while a woman will not validate her understanding of cause and effect if society doesn't provide her an example of doing so.

I agree w/ this.. level of intelligence matters greatly. An intelligent woman would know, and accept, when she is ovulating and ride with it and act correspondingly. Dumb girls will probably ignore it or try to suppress the changes. If I were a girl, i'd take advantage of the extra chemicals and go clubbing hard on these weekends
