This is my first post on this forum...hoping for some guidance

I go to this impound depot and I see this chick(office clerk or something), shes probably a 5 with a very nice bod, so I don't pay her any mind at all, after I'm done doing what I'm doing at the depot she calls me over. She wants me to help her fix something on her phone. So I go around back and into her office to show her some stuff on her phone(I was really close to her personal space as she was sitting down and I was almost hugging her) so after I was finished I leaned backed and asked her for her number, she said she doesn't give out her number. So I didn't press on.

I'm pretty sure now it would have been better establishing a conversation and trying to run some semblance of game. I don't even think I had any frame at all.

I don't know if anyone has any insights? future ideas

(I have probably asked for a number less than 5 times in my life)

First rule is, why bother with a 5, unless you're practicing.

I would've joked about saying,
-I'm not gonna see some nude pics when you show me your phone right ? -smirk-
-You know I charge for this right ? You owe me a drink.
-I'm not gonna see some weird texts am I ? (or some variation)
-A dick pic isn't gonna pop on me is it ?

A few good lines come across my mind when grabbing a girls phone, I would've rambled with her about a few things, talk about the kind of phone she had, tease her she needs an upgrade, etc.

You needed to warm her up and build some comfort then ask for her number. If she denies you, you could ignore and keep rambling, ask again later on OR counter: "I don't give my number out" with "how about a drink - tonight at X place and Y time?" OR do like you did just eject.

Seems like you just showed her what you wanted (fell into her frame) and then asked for her number and was rejected.

OK thanks for your post,
I figure I need to establish myself first with a convo and maintain my own frame.

I just need some more practice

Every thread I see on maintaining frame gives me trouble, Whenever I'm out Its difficult for me to get into that mindset, but practice makes perfect.

I'm going to try approaching with the sole purpose of maintaining my frame in the interaction.

Use the search function alot.
