The addition of sexual orientation buzzwords hurts, but the end of the 1-5 star system is the bigger change. Rating bitches 1 star was a great way to nuke the uggos and fatties from your searches. Now, you only can pass on girls you deem unacceptable.

The new like or pass system does not work for one reason- it does not remove the girls that you pass on from your potential matches. I used to rate every girl in the quickmatch as either a 4 or a 1. Under the old system, my searches would show almost exclusively bangable girls I had preapproved as being 4-star. Now, the search exercises as much face control as your neighborhood dive bar.

Of course, there's still the ability to block girls, but it's not as convenient as going through the quickmatch. I'd like the new system a lot more if it removed the girls you pass on from your searches.

It's not "getting out of hand", everything's functioning exactly as intended. It's an emergent feature of all gathering places for insane, un-socialised millennials on the internet that they have to delineate language to express how special they are compared to everyone else in the group.

Was the five star rating system connected to that "congrats you aren't ugly" email you got that supposedly let you see the profiles of hotter people? Because I've noticed the girls seem a lot uglier lately on okc, but I assumed it was due to Tinder being the new trendy site.

I think they still might filter by attractiveness. I recently updated my profile with a better pic and tuned the verbage a bit. After a few days the quality of girls I saw in quickmatch and browsing went way up.

For highly intelligent & intellectually minded (really intelligent - not just educated) women, a LTR with a man significantly lower in IQ is a drab existence.
