I got my first crush after charming this girl. Sent her an opening message. She hasn't replied. Hasn't logged into the app in 5 days.

Just had Happn date with wholesome appearing chick who just moved to this DC shitpit from carousel haven. Easy to talk to but wouldn't have more than one drink while I pounded through three. Bartender was even a former Happn match who was uglier in person but I blocked her after non-response many many months ago. No kino with this one except hug on intro and exit. No heavy flirting. Meeting ended within 1.5 hours. She blocked me from Happn within the hour of its ending so I deleted number from phone.

The good thing is I got out of the house this weekend and got a bang within 2 minutes after meeting chick at bar around last call Saturday night. My balls were properly drained then. Back to these worthless apps.

Does anyone know if you can delete and restart your account, so that you appear newly on other profiles?

I've deactivated my account, but upon recreating it, it merely seems to have suspended it for the moment -- your previous information still stands. Presumably, if a girl has left-swiped you on her profile, you're still invisible to her.

Or does it not work à la Tinder, Bumble, etc., that way?

Maybe its only here in the Philippines but twice I've opened two girls and didn't get their numbers (due to probably group pressure), and they found me on Happn later and messaged me.

Banged both of them. Just install it and every week or so just take 5 minutes to check who crossed paths. Good solid "freebie" app if you do real life approaches and for some reason can't get the contact info. Maybe a niche thing in the Phils though.

Is anyone who's using a number of apps finding that their photos which might work for one isn't quite up to standard for another?

I've been using the same photos for both Happn and Tinder, having restarted them roughly the same day.

My success on Tinder is only marginally better than Happn. However, I'm guessing that because Happn is real-time location based, matches should be more immediate, in accordance with your whereabouts. Therefore making my overall match rate much higher on Tinder.

Or is that not how Happn works and that matching, like Tinder, does take time as well?

Happn seems to have better looking girls overall, more educated/professional ones too. Slightly less Asian girls. The corollary being, evidently, a corresponding increase in the quality of guys. I had one of my matches remark to me in April that she wasn't sure whether Happn was full of bots, because of how many good looking dudes there were!

I definitely reckon it raises the bar a fair bit. In the 10 days since I've had it, I've only matched with 6 girls, in the 6-8 range. Number closed 3 of them, met one of them of Tuesday, kiss-closed, but wasn't attracted enough to go further.

There are a few models and news presenters on it, so, yeah, I could do better.
