I believe it encourages improvement in your quality of women while discouraging oneitis.

Well check some of the rating threads on here, some men are very picky about facial features.

I think men and women can be extremely picky, women for more irrational things.

I feel like it is coming down to the intricate tiny details sometimes.

That said, McCoy does have a point though. Self esteem, feelings of inadequacy, etc. in some guys can affect their ratings on others.

Can you really blame your boy for being honest? I'm not sure about finding most of the scags attractive but if I'm drunk and she shows up at my house naked and is DTF, I'm going to do it. A pretty face and skinny body are all I care about.

I will be blunt the 1-10 scale is for the staying because it is so pleasantly objectifying. It is fun to objectify, men love to do it and women love to have it done unto them. A simple boner test of WB or WNB doesn't cut it the same way, because it tells us about you and your reaction and not about the girl as a sexual object.

Also rating a girls from 1 to 10 and agreeing on the rating (or sometimes disagreeing) is a form of male bonding.

Why dont you put members to the test? I think almost every man knows a 9 when they see one. Put up a list of women and ask guys to rate the. Pretty sure everyone would agree. Heartiste has done it before. Personally I will bang 4s and up.

Keep in mind, this is with makeup, lighting, professional photographer, and photo editing.

She just looks weird to me. She's also 45. Yeah she looks better than most women her age but that holds true for most asian women.

Edit: You know, if I hadn't been inundated with Hollywood propaganda telling me to think she's hot, and I just saw her as a random woman walking around, I would honestly think there's a chance that she's a tranny. That's a pretty masculine jawline.

Many American men have never seen a female celebrity from an Asian country. I asked a guy who thought Lucy Liu was the shit if he had ever seen a Chinese movie or photos of Chinese actresses - he said "no".

I really like Asians but for me the second one down in red is far better than the other two, maybe an 8.5, while the other two are maybe 7.5 for me. All these threads just show how much tastes vary.

Is it really just that you are giving her a personal score of 7 because of your own tastes? Or is she really better than that? Are you considering your own personal fetishes and itches?

This is why Tuth says guys just cannot extrapolate very well. On a mainstream scale of beauty, are any of those Chinese girls 7s? Or are they anything from 1 to a 10 because every man has to add or subtract based upon their own itch/scratch?

Thing is, I would score those actresses 9 or 10 just because they have that level of universal beauty appeal. They would finish high in any pageant period. In most beauty pageant no woman is under an 8. Why do guys need to score women lower for reasons like, "I don't like Asians" or "I am an ass man". Why can't guys just give fair scores based upon outright beauty? To heck with your own preferences! You don't need to date one prior either to assessing that beauty! Looking again I'd give the bottom one an 8. I think my scores on the other two are pretty reasonable, although I may be allowing personal preference to affect my higher rating on the one in red.

There are, literally, hundreds of threads that have put members "to the test" about this. All they've proven is precisely the opposite of you're saying: there's massive disagreement about what constitutes any given rating--hence this whole thread wondering out loud whether it's time to let go of the numerical scale.
