umbrella game [gaming in pouring rain]
It's rush hour, everyone's in a hurry, pouring rain. Masses of people are walking from their offices to the main train station in a fast pace.

I'm without an umbrella, as usual. Most girls have them though. Out of necessity I start screening girls, looking for the ones that are somewhat approachable (there's a thread on this here).

Then I just go for it. With a huge smile I say:

me: excuse me, but i'm gonna tag along to the train station (smile, i don't ask i just get in and tell her)

Now, it's going to take one cold hearted bitch to tell you to buzz off. Especially after screening and everything. In this instance she looks surprised and says:

her: uhm, yeah ok (doesn't really know how to act)

After that it's standard game, number close and then go on your separate ways. If you do really well you might even hug-close, I didn't though.

My grandpa pulled a reverse of that when I was a baby. It started raining pretty hard when we were in the store and a young lady was stuck there. He whips out am umbrella, gets the girl under there and walks her to the bus station. I had to run behind them in the rain. One day I'd like to do that in front of my kid, except there will be a lesson in there for him.

It's probably better to actually stop them, hit on them, take their number. For some reason I've found that game in the rain is superb, i've not worked out why yet
