RE: Teeth, Hair, Stomach for older players
Good question-- I have one out of three, and the contrast in response I get is noticeable since I gained weight.

1) The one I have--really nice natural hair that is still thick, wavy and greying blond at almost 60.
I got it from my mother who had amazing waves of thick , full-yellow hair.
At the local Philippines mall, I an usually the only blond in the whole place out of 200 people. It definitely gets noticed, not all positively , guys sometimes glare at me in resentful jealousy.
I could do literally nothing but wash my hair with regular soap. let it dry and never comb it and it still looks great.

2) My teeth are half done which I am working on. I can't decide between laser whitening or crowns. Laser is less invasive, but temporary and I'm scared it'll hurt.

About half my "smile teeth" already have crowns and look good, the others are noticeably yellow and I have just been too cheap to get them done.

The fact most girls here have bad teeth makes me feel less pressured, but it's bad to be lazy and limit my chick quality ceiling. CQC lol.

3) The stress of several months hard work commuting a long distance to save up before I came here resulted in a disgusting round gut-- not the really horrible one you see on older guys who drink smoke and do nothing like a basketball under their shirt, but still very soft and puffy around the middle. Transport here in Cebu and pollution making exercise outside feel like a horror movie ahave prevented me from getting it together. Filipinos are careful never to say anything negative, but I see them glance at by belly sometimes when I'm in bed with them.

I'm getting my own transportation soon and will be going to a gym less-polluted times of day to straighten it out. My impression is exercise and diet will be OK, liposuction is obviously so unnatural , I don't really know how much it makes you look better. Obviously the overall health effects of exercise diet will make a lot of changes like skin color and posture that lipo won't.

IKE, you don't need to exercise to get rid of your belly. Diet is the only thing that works. Cut out the bread, chips and sugar and don't eat late at night. Go to the gym to lift weights but no need for cardio.

I heard dentists are cheap in the Phil, though I'd be scared to go to one. I have seen girls with stellar teeth so there must be some good ones around.

Let us know how losing the gut and fixing the teeth helps you CQC. lol

Lipo will only get you so far - it's not meant to be a weight loss tool, only something to shape stubborn areas that won't go away AFTER you've given it all you have with diet and exercise. In fact people have died on the operating table when doctors try to remove much more than that. The body goes into shock thinking it's lost something significant and the patient never recovers.

Short answer is few people need lipo but if you want to shape things up a bit (like get rid of stubborn love handles), it can assist with the overall picture, but it is not a panacea. I would run away from any doctor who tells you massive lipo reduction is possible in one fell swoop - very, very dangerous and unnatural.

Im not massive at all, but I know guys with HUGE guts that had them removed. They do it with a local anesthetic these days so they were to try to pierce the abdominal cavity you would jump off the table in pain. They can suck a lot out and make it look quite natural. Women of course in US can fill 6 litre bags without much problem. THe thing with lower abdomen is it is the LAST place fat leaves. For slim guys, you end up looking like a holocaust victim for months just to drag off the mid section.

Im more interested in the hair transplant technology these days. THe last I heard, hairplugs were like storks of corn that look really unnatural, but I think the technology has come a long way. Hair would certainly help my game. I cathc a few chicks checking out the receeding areas when I am not looking...

Guys, a warning about liposuction.

The important thing to realize is that fat is not only for energy storage, but also produces an important hormone, leptin. Leptin is important in signaling to the brain that you are full. A sudden decrease in leptin, such as massive fat removal through liposuction, will cause your appetite to spin out of control and you will quickly regain the fat. Hence the frequent rebound of people who get liposuction.

It will work in the short term, but long term speaking, there is no substitute for proper diet and exercise.

As for teeth, the more prevention you can get, the better things will be down the road. Try to avoid soda, even diet soda. The carbonic acid will wear your teeth down bit by bit, and over the span of 20-30 years or so do a lot of damage. Floss every day, and your gums will remain healthy and you'll avoid cavities in between your teeth. Rinse your mouth every time you eat something, and sugar and acids will not stay around and wear away your teeth.

Sugar alcohols like xylitol, erythitol, malitol, etc are good for teeth also, they reduce the population of certain cavity causing bacteria. In gum form they pull food particles from your teeth and stimulate saliva which flushes out acid. I chew xylitol gum regularly.

I'm considering hair restoration, some receding in the front despite starting Rogaine and herbal DHT blockers 7 years ago. If I'm telling a girl I'm 5+ years younger than I am it'd be nice to have the hairline to match, for confidence if nothing else.

I saw my doctor recently and complained about my inability to lose weight even after hitting the gym on a regular basis. His comment:"It has been statistically proven that you can't lose weight from work-out alone."
Damn, and with thanksgiving coming up.
Still have all my teeth, although some of them reside in a box. Smile. At least all the front ones are intact. Most of my problems are from years of martial arts training. I finally started wearing a mouth guard after one to many trips to the root canal doctor.
Bald. Hereditary in my family and just started shaving my head in my 30's. Chicks dig it for some reason.

Warrior/Intermittent Fasting/One Meal A Day will maintain your teeth - if you're only eating within certain time window, you don't allow the residue to ferment in your mouth. If you're eating all day, you have to brush/floss after each meal which will begin to cause problems of their own (wearing down enamel, bloody gums)

As far as Hair/Belly, You may be able to knock out two birds with one stone. Alot of people have reported thicker hair in general, and tiny hairs sprouting up in areas that were previously after going gluten/dairy free. Now that I think of it, it may be 3 birds w/ one stone, because combined with Warrior/IF your inflammation will be super-low, and inflammation is the root of hair loss in the first place.

Keep in mind w/ lipo, you'll be on a liquid diet for the first month afterwards...if you had just lived on liquid for a month, you'd most likely be able to lose atleast a third of what you would on Lipo.

Got my teeth done in Thailand ($120 to remove my widsom teeth, $750 for braces), can't say about the hair because I'm still too young.
