The person wasn't too bright to steal from a highly motivated former ranger and MMA fighter.

Maybe more knowledgable members can weigh in but I'm not sure if you sue for copy if he cribbed posts from an open forum.

I left a 1 star because that's just foul stealing your data.

Something similar happened to a friend of mine: He makes rap beats and he did a tutorial video on YouTube. About a month later we find out a rapper from French Montana (banging Khloe Kardashian)'s rap group the Coke Boys stole the tutorial beat and put it on an album.

I'm with Mechanico, it's probably somebody from on here...

I'll pay a handsome reward to whoever figures out who this is.

It's not about the money, its about some thief who crossed a line with me.

We've got guys in here that are experts at tracking people down.

This clown shouldn't be THAT hard to find.

If he's getting paid then there's got to be a way to find him.

We were meant for far more than to suffer in our self created prisons only to die alone. It doesn't have to be that way. It never did.

Ask someone who works for Amazon, they certainly have the guy's real identity, from his bank account data.

Any in-house computer scientist, DBA or medium-level manager from Amazon, should be able to query and get the real identity of this guy.

Based upon the title of the book, my very first thought was this former member:

/user-7186.html

Probably a bit of a leap, but it's not uncommon for not-so-subtle clues to be present when shit like this occurs, since part of them wants to be caught for the sake of notoriety.

He's still frequenting the forum too, based on the last login date/time (not sure why you would need to log in when you're banned?...easier to search threads/posts?).

Reminds me of this. I think this guy was even mentioned on Bullshido.com.

RE: Some Prick Has Stolen My Stories and Published an Ebook
Here is a little light detective work.

If you look at the reviews of "Sean Clarkson's" two e-books, you'll notice they both get 5 star shill reviews from reviewers "sunchaser" and "mr powers":

mr powers

sunchaser

If you look through their profiles to see what else they have reviewed, you'll notice that the only other author both of them review beside "Sean Clarkson" is one "Hunter Powers" who writes scam books about diets:

Hunter Powers

Moreover, in some cases, "sunchaser" and "mr powers" are the only reviewers of some of these books, just like they were the first reviewers of Clarkson's books. Of course all of these are 5 star shill reviews.

My conclusion is that it is very likely that "Sean Clarkson", "Hunter Powers", "sunchaser" and "mr powers" are all one and the same person. While that does not tell us who he is, it may be useful information. This character is not just a plagiarist of Fisto's stories, but also churns out diet and lifestyle scam books obviously based on scraping various lifestyle websites.

Lest someone be thrown off by this, there is a guy on the web named Hunter Powers who seems to be a high powered developer/programmer. This is certainly not the same person as the pseudonymous "Hunter Powers"/"Sean Clarkson"/"mr powers"/"sunchaser".

Hope this helps someone who has more time to dig into this.

same old shit, sixes and sevens Shaft...

A few grand? A cease and desist letter should cost you a couple hundred bucks maximum. Hell, you can probably find one online and write it yourself.

Fuck it. Grab some public domain C&D letter, edit it to be relevant to your stolen material, and PM me the copy. I'll make sure it sounds lawyerlike enough.

RE: Some Prick Has Stolen My Stories and Published an Ebook
The person definitely frequents the forum and probably has spent quite a bit of time on here. At the beginning of the book there's a glossary with a dozen terms such as shoring, LMR, DHV, etc. Things that someone wouldn't know without spending a good amount of time in this corner of the net.

Maybe someone can do a Google image search and see if the book cover was done on 99designs or another site and get more info on the guy that way?

Did he steal your ideas or use your words?

If the latter, let's ruin him legally.

His other book is about SEA and says it contains 27 detailed city guides on where to meet women in day and night game, etc. It's probably datasheets ripped right from the forum.

What a punk motherfucker. I hope we can find out who this guy is, and I hope it isn't a regular member around here.

I think you should definitely figure out who this ahole is, but as far as the content, can't you just contact Amazon about the plagiarism?

He used Fisto's words. It is a straight copy and paste job with minor modifications.

Also the suspended fake twitter account

That's all I've got for now.

^ Ah, that's true.

He either took them down or Amazon did then.

If it was him, I'd say he's a pretty damn active member or troller here.
