I think a guaranteed basic income would be better than the system we have today. By abolishing all of the welfare state, social programs, handouts, tax cuts, min wage, etc. and replacing it with a GBI, we could finally eliminate poverty & give everyone an equal part of the pie. The best of this deal would be that we could finally tell the left to go to hell.

After all, the left started out organizing by fighting poverty & exclusion, a GBI would give everyone an equal fair cut of & stake in society. You would never need to listen to any of these clowns again, you could legitimately ignore them: you'd know any people's misery is their making, and thus no sympathy is warranted. Agitation politics would simply become impossible, the groups the left fights for wouldn't need the left anymore.

And when the (american) Mars Rover landed one guy who had some minor control panel job got huge, HUGE positive media exposure because he has some sort of freaky buzz cut.

My point is, guys here seem to forget who these feminist are really working for, whether they are aware of it or not their job is to spread whatever bullshit the system wants them to spread.

Oh, we have no need for manly men now, lets make that uncool and promote male effeminacy and remove any incentive for marriage for them while promoting female promiscuity and removing social accountability for them. Now, how are we going to make sure this new directive sticks?

How is sticking crucifixes up some skanks ass helping advance women rights or social standing all over the world? Its not, in any way. The objective is to desensitize, to make sure people dismiss shocking images or opinions, to make them look the other way, to make women think that they can do whatever they want and get away with it, that traditional belief systems are conspiring against them, to make them embrace the new belief systems, systems engineered to make people docile and subservient, to tell men that women are not worth the effort, that women have freedoms they dont, to make them accept the yokes around their necks. Look down boy, keep pulling the cart, take the whip gladly and then maybe, just maybe, your fat wife will let you turn the basement into a mancave that you can call "your" own. Of course, no bikini girl posters, thats sexist. And male sexuality is something to be ashamed. You SHOULD be ashamed of being a man, they do all the raping and the murdering. It doesnt matters that you have never raped or killed anybody, you are a man, you are LIKE THEM. So you deserve to be treated like them.

Guys, never forget, EVERYTHING thats on the media is there because someone wants you to think a certain way. Thats why forums like this are so valuable to men like us, its a chance for us to receive unfiltered, unedited, unbiased opinions and thoughts.

Absolutely in agreement with this. While I still find Hitler's ideas abhorrent and would never want to live in his creation, the repeated betrayals committed by our leaders have certainly led me to believe that there is nothing bad or repulsive about Russia and China's governments and that they, unlike ours, actually get shit done and care about the welfare of their people.

A long time back I tried to explain how cultural decline has a lot to do with veteran suicides in this generation, not soft upbringing. Now do you believe?

Really, it was World War One which was the big mistake. An unconscious collective impulse towards war for no good reason destroyed an acceptable world order. The militarists and Social Darwinists back then were all excited about how war would bring back manly virtue from a decadent era. Hitler was a terrible consequence of WW I.

I don't think Russia and China give any more of a shit about people than the OECD countries do. In China, the land grabbing by connected oligarchs is one sign of that. China just has a shitload of cash because of a favorable balance of payments and can spend it on infrastructure. Russia and China can also "control the narrative" by censorship and oppression.

+1 on 'buy the shirt' (http://www.alohaland.com/whats-new/new-gunner-girls).

Sold out at the moment, I hope they restock and sell like hotcakes.

Do more of whatever Leftists complain about, and do it as offensively and 'in their face' as possible.

I wouldn't agree with that at all. Many within the Chinese government -- especially at the mid and low levels -- are undeniably corrupt and self-serving, but I think those who rise to the top most certainly do care about their own people, their culture, their civilisation. Many are former engineers and so are problem solvers, but aside from that, they're well aware of the long span of Chinese history. They believe in the concept of the Mandate of Heaven and know that they cannot simply be tyrants. That has never ended well in Chinese history. Westerners tend to think of history as being the ancient world, the Dark Ages, and then an endless march of progress since. The Chinese have seen the rise and fall of dynasties and think much more cyclically. The CCP leadership know that they must rule well or face the same fate. They also know that China was once literally the centre of the world (hence why their own name for China means "Middle Kingdom"), then it was eclipsed by the West and they had their "Century of Shame" and they really want to put China back on the map. Furthermore, they are making some attempts at reining in corruption and environmental degradation. They're well aware of the cost of progress in China over recent decades and how those problems could lead to them losing the Mandate of Heaven, but I'd say that lifting 300 million people -- basically, the entire population of the United States -- out of grinding poverty in the span of a generation is a pretty amazing accomplishment.

I don't doubt that many leaders in China are idealistic and honest. But it's at the "mid and low levels" where government meets the people. That's why I recommend knowing your local government legislators and executives if you live in a place you can vote. You can get things done. In China, that local official would not be accountable to me if I were Chinese.

Of course China has made great strides over the last 40 years. Mostly they did it by giving people some economic freedom.

It's not really a question of whether there are some leaders in China and Russia which are good. Of course there are, even during Mao's and Stalin's time there were. It's a question of whether, on balance, the systems in Russia and China are more or less responsive and beneficent than those in the OECD.

I won't hijack the thread, but here's the link to the original thread.
/thread-41475.html

GBI would be different, because it'd be much more efficient & allows a much smaller state while at the same time the rag-tag of misfits would be paid off. A GBI, along with porn, vidgames, celebnews, TV & Twitter would probably pacify 80+% of the people. They wouldn't get riled up by any social agitator, they could care less.

Clearly, Hitler, Mao, Stalin, and the 'Guaranteed Minimum Income', are related to 'Astrophysicist wears raunchy T-shirt and feminists complain'.

A GBI would be the most effective way at silencing the left, decreasing government size and inefficiency, and helping those at the bottom get access to the funds they need.

The next way to end agitation politics would be to eliminate the term "marriage" in the tax code and call it a union of two people since "marriage" comes from religious terms then it shouldn't be codified in law. Let the churches duke out who should be married.

Read the comment section of this article of him crying. 4500 comments, 80% of them bashing femcunts. That's pretty huge.

I've been noticing lately that articles or YouTube videos pushing SJW views have been getting serious pushback in the comment sections, even on sites sympathetic to those views. As someone said earlier, it seems as though perhaps the ridiculous nature of some of the arguments being made is starting to get through to some of the moderates.

Wow. Already over 10,000.

The fact that this was mobilized so quickly, and the fact that Rose Eveleth's Twitter page has been flooded with hate, is, quite frankly, heartwarming.

But in the west, we seem to have this self-loathing that compels us to work against our own interests! It's really quite pathological.
