Notice that she managed to cram both Skrillex and short hair onto a single head! How fucked up do you have to engage in double mutilation?

Meanwhile, radical feminists (but I repeat myself) simulate anal sex with crucifixes at the Vatican. But the hula-girl shirt was offensive.

So brave. Lets see them do something similar while wearing a hijab and shoving prayer beads instead of crucifixes.

I'm still shocked by the fact that they forced him to apologize.

Hope the stir caused by #shirtstorm will get this bitch fired.

Also, it does seem like this combined with #gamergate are making people realize how deluded feminists and sjws really are.

I know you might be half-joking here, but I actually see this coming to pass. In much the way a lot of American men now look to marry foreign, why not give your brianpower to a foreign company and not have to deal with US-bred idiotic political correctness?

If men know they're going to be ruined for one false move, they're going to be paralyzed with self-consciousness and not do their best anyway. This alone would be incentive to work for a foreign company.

That and I bet the secretaries are a whole lot more pleasant...and thinner.

I've often wondered the same thing. Many men will stay in unhealthy relationships for far longer than they should out of a misplaced sense of honor and loyalty. But eventually everyone has their breaking point. At what point will men start deciding that it's no longer worth serving a country that no longer serves them back, and instead regards them with barely concealed disdain.

Will they keep enlisting in a military that portrays them as sexual predators? Will they keep enrolling at colleges that regard them as potential rapists? Will they keep striving for ground-breaking achievements if those achievements can be overshadowed by something as petty as the shirt they wear on their back?

I can see men in the future deciding that "if my country holds no allegiance to me, then why should I hold any allegiance to my country?". And once that happens, they'll be taking themselves, their "brainpower", and their allegiance elsewhere.

I'm happy to be able to post.

The most amazing part of this is not only people picking apart the man's clothing...

But the fact that he's clearly asking for this behavior from others, due to what he chose to wear.

This is the middle school level of group-thought.

(11-15-2014 01:47 AM)CRR Wrote:  I respectfully disagree with the criticism of Matt Taylor for his apology.

My guess he was forced to by the ESA. He’s probably very upset that such a moment of accomplishment for him is being defined by this. Even if he is apologizing on his own accord, I don't fault him.

If I saw a friend, a true nice, decent person, who in their moment of accomplishment being attacked by SJWs, who then apologized because he lives in a feminized culture, I wouldn’t criticism for his apology. I’d drop some red pill knowledge that he has no reason to apologize for being a man. And then I’d go after the SJW fuckheads for attacking him.

Some men are naturally shy, introverted and non-confrontational. I don’t think we should dismiss them, rather we should encourage them to join us by just telling the truth and encouraging them to follow their instincts, that the feminized culture they grew up in is a lie. And in this case he has no reason to apologize for wearing a funny shirt and the SJWs can go fuck themselves for trying to ruin his day. To say to them “I helped land a machine on a comet. I advanced science and participated in human history. What the fuck did any of you feminists do this week aside from complain and be fat and unattractive?” The best way to stick up for someone who is being attacked by bullies is to help him fight back.

CCR:

I see where you're coming from, but I respectfully disagree with you. There's another side to this coin.

I would ask you to consider it from a different angle.

When all is said and done, your explanation (while well-intentioned) is still just a rationalization for the scientist's caving in to persecution. It is still rationalization for not wanting to rock the boat, for not wanting to lose his job. The answers here are not easy.

We've had enough of this "don't rock the boat" mentality for the past 30 years. And what has it gotten us? More emboldened SJWs. More emboldened anti-male culture. More attacks, more marginalization.

At some point you have to throw down the gauntlet. At some point you need to draw a line, regardless of the voices of fear in your head. You need to stand up and fight whether you think you're going to win or not.

Yes, I know it's easy to say that when it's not my ass on the line. I freely accept this criticism. But I still say it, regardless.

This is the meaning of true courage: the ability to go toe-to-toe when you are uncertain of the outcome. You say he might lose his job if he doesn't kiss ass. But who knows? Maybe a better job is waiting for him somewhere else. Maybe newer, better, more productive things will happen when he throws down the gauntlet. Courage has a way of creating its own momentum. Courage carries its own aura, its own logic, and its own coronation wreath.

Never forget that.

At some point, someone has to confront them. The SJWs are holding the keys to all the gates. At some point, a clash is inevitable.

Some people may say "It's easy for you to say that, Quintus, it's not your job on the line." Maybe.

But the watershed moments in history only come when someone finally stands up and says, "NO. ENOUGH." There were people in the McCarthy Era (1950s) who refused to cooperate with a blacklisting system that was based on intimidation and lies. At some point, Rosa Parks just said "fuck it" and refused to give up her seat. Was it planned? Not really. But everyone has a snapping point. And her actions triggered the onset of huge civil rights demonstrations.

Just something to think about.

QC I see the point you're making but the key detail in CCR's post is that YOU are coming at this from a Red Pill perspective, Matt Taylor is not.

I don't know what your past is like but most guys didn't start out red pill...probably almost none. You don't go from being a blue pill, convention-driven guy to a hardnosed, fearless patriarch in one fell swoop.

We all came to RVF and the red pill by different means. I wanted seduction advice. Looking back, it was a fairly innocuous knock on the door that landed me here. And 4 years later of being on the forum has COMPLETELY changed and solidified my worldview on politics, society, economics (okay solidified might be extreme, but I have a much more solid stance on my beliefs than I ever did previously). Key point being: it took years.

For Matt Taylor to stand up to SJWs would be like a complete newbie going into the gym and deadlifting 405lbs. I don't know that much about the guy but from everything I've read, he's about as green as they come. You can make a hardened, righteous warrior of a man, but it takes time. The first step is to win them over.

RE: Insanity: "I don't care if you landed a spacecraft on a comet, your shirt is ...
We need to breakdown what exactly an apology connotes. It means the person who gets the apology has the power.

1). Children apologize to their parents.

2). Citizens in court apologize to the judge and/or police.

3). Grown men should not be apologizing to feminists, the media, or SJWs, because it puts ALL MEN in the position of being subservient to these groups.

I'd say the reason so many people claim to be offended and ask for apologies is because it's an easy way to get unearned power. Don't give it to them.

And here I was thinking that, it's choosing the easy way out (getting married to the first available rich daddy's boy, at University), that usually "stops women from entering certain scientific fields"...

What keeps women from entering 'certain scientific fields' (like physics, for example), is lack of aptitude. Men are more variable with respect to IQ then women, so there are more male geniuses and more male special-ed students.

In my field (biology) the IQ demands are less stringent so wouldn't you know, more women study biology than men.

Also, where can I buy a shirt like this, with hot chicks on it? I want to wear it out to a party sometime.

Quote:1 small shirt for a man, 1 giant leap backward for women:

Glenn Harlan Reynolds 11:31 a.m. EST November 15, 2014

Better not to land a spaceship on a comet than let men wear sexist clothing.

So how are things going for feminism? Well, last week they took one of the great achievements of human history -- landing a probe from Earth on a comet hundreds of millions of miles away -- and made it all about the clothes.

Yes, that's right. After years of effort, the European Space Agency's lander Philaelanded on a comet 300 million miles away. At first, people were excited. Then some women noticed that one of the space scientists, Matt Taylor, was wearing a shirt, made for him by a female "close pal," featuring comic-book depictions of semi-naked women. And suddenly, the triumph of the comet landing was drowned out by shouts of feminist outrage about . . . what people were wearing. It was one small shirt for a man, one giant leap backward for womankind.

The Atlantic's Rose Eveleth tweeted, "No no women are toooootally welcome in our community, just ask the dude in this shirt." Astrophysicist Katie Mack commented: "I don't care what scientists wear. But a shirt featuring women in lingerie isn't appropriate for a broadcast if you care about women in STEM." And from there, the online feminist lynch mob took off until Taylor was forced to deliver a tearful apology on-camera.

It seems to me that if you care about women in STEM, maybe you shouldn't want to communicate the notion that they're so delicate that they can't handle pictures of comic-book women. Will we stock our Mars spacecraft with fainting-couches?

Not everyone was so censorious. As one female space professional wrote: "Don't these women and their male cohorts understand that *they* are doing the damage to what/whom they claim to defend!?"

No, they don't. Or, if they do, their reservations are overcome by the desire to feel important and powerful at others' expense. Thus what should have been the greatest day in a man's life -- accomplishing something never before done in the history of humanity -- was instead derailed by people with their own axes to grind. As Chloe Price observed: "Imagine the ...storm if the scientist had been a woman and everyone focused solely on her clothes and not her achievements."

Yes, feminists have been telling us for years that women can wear whatever they want, and for men to comment in any way is sexism. But that's obviously a double standard, since they evidently feel no compunction whatsoever in criticizing what men wear. News flash: Geeks don't dress like Don Draper.

Meanwhile, Time Magazine last week ran an online poll of words that should be retired from the English language. The winner -- by an enormous margin -- was "feminist." That's fitting. With this sort of behavior in mind, it's no surprise that so many people feel that feminism has passed its sell-by date.

Only 23% of American women and only 20% of Americans overall, identify as feminists, even though most are in favor of gender equality. Feminists, who like to say that feminism is gender equality, are unhappy with this, but I think the poll captures a truth. Whatever feminists say, their true priorities are revealed in what they do, and what they do is, mostly, man-bashing and special pleading.

When you act like what pioneer feminist Betty Friedan once called "female chauvinist boors," you shouldn't be surprised to lose popularity.

"Mean girls" online mobbing may be fun for some, but it's not likely to appeal for long. If self-proclaimed feminists have nothing more to offer than that sort of bullying, then their obsolescence is well deserved.

Great find. But one thing: When a mainstream publication like USA Today gives a voice to someone like Glenn Reynolds, that's when you want people to give them Web hits -- and to only repost some of the article.

If this gets a lot of traffic, they'll see there is an audience for this stuff and run more. So, I'd recommend everyone clicking on that link even if you've read this.

Insanity: "I don't care if you landed a spacecraft on a comet, your shirt is sexist"
This situation is obviously ridiculous to the extreme, and it is unfortunate that the scientist had his glorious moment derailed by feminists, but this will ultimately serve to our advantage. Why? Because they have completely jumped the shark with this one. They will never live this down, and we must never let them. Feminists and SJWs must be mocked mercilessly for what they did to this man. It's the perfect demonstration of how inane feminism has become. It's a movement that no longer has a purpose. When the only thing you can complain about is the shirt worn by a brilliant scientist on the day he helped achieve something that humanity has never done before, you have no reason to be around. You're done. No one should be listening to you. You've officially become the child complaining that there aren't enough chocolate chips in his cookie.

The average person has been going along with tacit support for feminism because feminists have previously been savvy about portraying themselves as victims (i.e. the made up "pay gap", the "rape epidemic", "patriarchal oppression", etc...). With this situation however, the veil has slipped and feminists have been revealed for the nasty, fervently anti-male, female supremacist harpies they are. Even worse for them, by making a stand on such a trivial issue, they further have revealed that their movement no longer has a purpose. These feminists are so privileged and advantaged in Western society that the only thing they can find to complain about is a scientist's shirt. This is the message they inadvertently conveyed by attacking the scientist, and that is the message we must spread, to their great shame and embarrassment.

They overstepped massively by piling on this guy over his shirt. Their hubris got the best of them. As anti-feminists, we must not let this incredible blunder by our enemies go to waste, rather we must seize on it and amplify its damaging effects. Let this be a constant point of our messaging in the future, especially the next few months while it is still fresh in peoples' minds. It is a dagger that cuts right to the heart of modern feminism and exposes this so called "social justice" movement for what it really is: an ideology that is virulently and reflexively anti-male, and which is only enabled by the tacit acceptance of the majority. The minute most people realize how nasty and petty these feminists really are, their power will drop to almost nothing. They will be recognized for the damaged harpies they are and will be rightly marginalized and ignored.

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” - Romans 8:18

deadmau5, famous dj/producer with a large internet presence, posted this on his official facebook page:

He has massive mainstream appeal and, provided he's not so spineless as to clarify that he supports "good feminism" or something similar in the next few hours, this could be a very good thing.

Hope the stir caused by #shirtstorm will get this bitch fired.

Also, it does seem like this combined with #gamergate are making people realize how deluded feminists and sjws really are.

RE: Insanity:
There are also sexist images of naked womyn on the Voyager probe that depict womyn as smaller and less muscular than men!

I demand an apology from NASA! Take it DOWN! take the Voyager down RIGHT NOW!

I literally cant even right now! Im so offended my NASA misogyny!

I like this comment said by a female

Quote:This is what I would of said in my speech :- "Some people have commented on my shirt, personally I love it and I wear it all the time. It was made for me by my good friend <insert female="" designer=""> and I love the way she designs clothes. If my shirt offends you, that's your problem and not mine. We have achieved some truely great feats with this mission that are really paying off. If people think the pattern on my shirt is more important than that then they clearly have distorted priorities and I am not interested in thei opinion. Peace Out !!"

I think that would cover it, not what he did.

RE: Insanity: "I don't care if you landed a spacecraft on a comet, your shirt is sexist"
And y'all forgetting the real agenda here: the probe was from the EUROPEAN agency.

So the obvious course of action is to:

1- Portray it in the media as an achievement for "humankind" making no mention of who made it happen.

2- Nitpick every and all details to find something that can be bashed on to distract attention to the fact that it was the europeans who landed a probe on a freaking comet while the american space shuttle is rotting away somewhere in Florida.
