Way back I was flat broke, working for a bit above minimum in a warehouse (probably making $6/hr when minimum was $3.35) a friend suggested driving for Dominos. I wonder about Uber as an income source. I was pretty vehemently against Uber but then thinking about it, I realized it's basically the same as delivering pizza. You're providing the capital in the form of your car, and it's hell on your car, but it's a tip-driven business and it's got to be highly dependent on your hustle.

With the price wars going on, drivers are making shit money these days as the prices drop lower and lower. An Uber driver now has to work 3 times as much to make what he did before.

In other words, the more you drive the less you make due to expenses and lower pay.

Rent's due and owe bookie are two very different levels of urgency. If it was the kneecap-shattering kind, I'd go with medical guinea pig that pays over a grand. That, or mug people.
