Hola fellas

I'm asking for you guys to provide me some direction on the type of moves I need to be making to improve my game and/or just a general progression I should look to take with my game moving forward.

Shit about me,

I built my game pretty much by picking pieces that seemed to fit my personality and pretty much running with it--So I'm capable of getting from opening to bed time.
Most of my game problems seem to be rooted in the physiological development of game although since joining this forum I've also learned that I don't really know what I think I know--basically I'm saying my self diagnosis is probably wrong.

My notch count is 6 with 3 coming in the last year since I've gone red pill. I'm a hard type a personality and future Olympian. I primarily run night game--most friendly to my training schedule. Living with my divorced mom right now while I finish paying of my debt (holy shit living with her has made me even more into a believer of red pill ideology and women's bull shit Jesus Christ) but I'll have my own place in December.
I'm 6-8, black, and I was a college athlete--graduated in 2013. Im definately on the overconfidence side of life and from what I've interpreted from reading I should be doing better than I am--I can't think of any other details that would help y'all help me so if there's other info that would be of use let me know.

With all that said I get the feeling that the game I have is a house made of straw ya feel me? I was super pumped to have a house at first but now I'm realizing that it's actually a piece of shit and I need and want to do better--kind of feels like I'm operating far below what I'm capable of.

So yea, let me know what's a good direction to head in and keep improving my skills. There's definately something that I'm missing in my development but I don't know what it is or where to find it.

You haven't really given much info there.

Advice is the same as to everyone else in your boat: buy the books and read the forum.

By read I mean absorb everything.

Buy Roosh's books.

Spend a week trawling through this place.

Then come back with more specific questions.

Agreed. The books are absolutely worth the money, and the forum has covered almost every topic you can think of. Make the search function your friend and dig into the wealth of knowledge stored here.

You can also try sorting each subforum by most viewed and most replies, to get a feeling for the more popular threads.

There are things you can already work with - you said you are a competitive athlete so you are certainly in shape. Secondly direct your desire to learn by reading RVF, ROK and roosh. Be aware that there's a lot of blue pill advice out there and I can testify that it misdirected me. A decade ago I spent months reading mainstream bull such as askmen dotcom and with my new eyes I see how blue pill the mainstream is. Finally, realise that experience is the best teacher. Have fun with this - my number one tip in (bitter) hindsight is ALWAYS only go for the females who are most attractive to you. Don't touch any others

brick tamland its crazy that you say that about askmen because that was probably the first places I turned to in college trying to find an answer. There's definitely a lot of blue pill pit falls out there.

All in all thanks guys, I'll get back to yall later with some better info and quesitons.

I would say be realistic about this and don't be so down on yourself - and think about delayed gratification... until you move out of your mothers house, you're going to have a low reserve of self-confidence to get out there and pull. There's not a lot you can do about this in the short-run.

Save your money and withdrawal from the game for a while and get back into it when you're on better financial footing. In the meantime, get in shape and pick up a hobby that is good conversational fodder (mine is cooking).

I've been there. I was shit with my finances living in squalor and I could barely wrustle up any mojo to work it when I went out. Knowing what I know now, I would have been better off saving the bar tab and putting it toward my debt.

Also, when you do find a place of your own, focus on logistics. If you really want to amp up your game, this is the single greatest factor when you have the basic self confidence down. Even if you have to pay a little more for a place that's close to the scene, it makes a hell of a lot of difference in your motivation not to have to mess around with cabs and public transportation...

Problem #1 is that you're telling us your stats and your problems, but not about your GAME.

1) are you in the states? Big city? Small town?
2) how often are you going out? What time of day? Are you only doing online game?
3) what kind of girls are you going after?
4) can you approach, can you open, can you transition, can you lead a conversation
5) can you escalate?

We can't help with your game until you talk actually talk about your game.

1) Yes im in the states and the city I live in is both a college town and a major city. I actually removed this info from the post to maintain anonymity

2) 2-3 times a week as thats all my schedule has time for at the moment (thursday & saturday, sometimes fridays. The time would be night and at bars. Also online game doesnt work for black people lol--but real talk

3) girls--mostly all of them i dont have a preferation but white girls are by far the most abundant and the ones i approach the most--where I live race has not been an issue to my knowledge (maybe it is idk). I go for above average girls (mid 6s to high 7s) and the girls I have banged qualify in that range. Tall, short, athletic, lean, pretty faces; round asses are all my typical thing. As far as classification goes it would be middle class and up?--college students, new to the work force & working women, and girls of mutual acquaintances. Age Range 18-looking attractive. Ive never really inquired the age of most of them but the oldest I've approached would be 32. As long as I find them attractive and within my standards Im good.

4)Thanks for making me think about this: Usually when I go out to approach my process is more of a having fun and enjoying myself being option 1a and approaching/getting laid being option 1b. Can I approach, open, transition, lead a convo, bounce her, and end it with bed time. yes to answer your question. Often time tho things become about me having fun more than the seduction process which is bad??

5)yes but i dont follow a set game plan its more of whatever pops in my head verbally. but I do understand that things progress from less intimate to more sexual conversation and contact and I can do that.

I have no problem getting numbers and when I'm out with a girl one on one ive been able to close.

Ok after writing this Id say the two imeadiate things would be that I typically end the interaction so i can keep having my fun and that when I get the number I'll stop the interaction and just leave. most of lays Ive got have been from getting the number and then getting them out 1v1. so perhaps i'll avoid this?

But ill do some searching on the forum for sure--your own personal insight is also welcome

Night life is addictive, so I get it.

If you want #'s
- deeper set with 1 chick is better than a bunch of shallow sets with lots of chicks
- go out more nights
- don't limit your game to nights, but incorporate day game

As for online game, not an expert, but there are techniques for
- optimizing your photos
- make your profile good
- good opener messages
- getting a chick out

But you're behind the 8 ball online, for sure. Copy and Paste is your friend, as effort to reward ratio is so much better.

That being said, it's my belief that you'll do better offline.

My first reaction is athletes like you that have overconfidence but aren't getting laid as much as you should you may not be approaching enough it really is a numbers game.

1 bang in 50 approaches would be a good goal.

Second one would be waiting too long for things to come to you and not escalating fast or hard enough.

My guess is it is a simple numbers game issue especially for an Olympic athlete.

To capitalize on night game bangs you need focus. You need to be ready to drop your friends and leave to isolate a girl at the drop of a hat. Being the life of the party isn't a bad thing, but sometimes you are indebted to entertain everyone the entire night.

You need to have the mindset of being able to slip away from whatever crowd you are with and have no hesitation.

This is why guys recommend going out alone to hone your focus and instinct instead of being distracted and many times cock-blocked by friends.
