Hoopty Game
One of my biggest struggles for the past couple years has been my truck. Its an old Ford Explorer, and its age is showing. It creaks and squeaks, the interior is less then nice, and a college career being the designated vehicle left its mark.

This is one of my biggest hang ups internally. At all times this bothers me, and its really hard to shake the feeling. I can pep talk myself into thinking I look awesome, that its her loss if she walks away, that I am FUCKING AWESOME, but I cannot get myself over this issue.

I guess my question is, am I making to much of it? Does it really matter? If so is there any good way to let it roll off?

If your game is there you got nothing to worry about.

This is why you can be unemployed and still pull plenty of ass.

Of course, toys help.

RE: Hoopty Game
What about going after the issue before it comes up? Throw out a jokingly sarcastic line like "yeah my other car is in the shop, thrashed my back axle during one of my many dangerous underground street races"

Who cares what she says? You are the man remember. Disqualify her or agree and amplify. I wouldn't bring it up unless she does.

RE: Hoopty Game
I drive the biggest piece-of-shit car for miles. It's getting to the point where my car is almost older than some of the chicks I'm trying to holler at (and not in a good way). And, to make matters worse, I drive it in a city where cars matter.

It's never been a problem. In fact, I've cleverly used it to my advantage. Think of it this way: if George Clooney pulled up in my ride, mad bitches would still get in.

My goal is to trick-out what's on the inside of the car, not the car itself.

This is basically what I needed to hear. Thanks man, glad I'm not the only one. Though if the mechanic gives me an outlandish number to get this thing on the road and across the country I might have to bite the bullet and get a loan and go pick up something a little less used.

I used to quote the late rapper Fat Pat when I had my old car. "Taking pride in my ride like every playa should"

RE: Hoopty Game
Hoopty game might be a thing of the past after this week, my notion to quit my job and move across country has spurred the possibility of a massive raise and promotion, so maybe it wont be a problem Tongue

In all fairness after reading all this and thinking it over, the whole idea seems fairly moot. Unless she's a real shallow gold digging bitch if a girl is gonna fuck you, I dont think she's gonna stop because your car squeaks a little. (though the possibility of it straight breaking down is there, though thats just reason to keep a clean backseat)
