Amazing adventures yesterday in 3rd/4th tier Polish city, had a blast, stunners, crazy nightlife and day game was fun also. Polish skills are required though. Now that I can evaluate as well what happened in the previous weekend, it just confirms that Krakow is so arduous, attitude of girls is a nightmare compared to other normal Polish towns! Preparing already plans for traveling next weekend.

Why is there a negative attitude about Poland in this thread as of late?

I'm wondering if some of the negativity is just projection from guys who aren't crushing it.

For example, I find it hard to imagine that it's "weird" for a single guy to live in Krakow in his 30's.

Krakow is an up-and-coming European city, and a guy in his 30's should literally be in the prime of his life. Why is this weird @Burner?

Because in Poland 90% of normal people in there 30 have their own families and some kids.
You can check the clubs, there are only few people older than 30. I talk about 2nd tier. And if you daygame there its normal that almost all girls (9 of 10)are in a relationship. If they look good of course.

RE: The Poland thread
Accumulating wealth is always easier as a couple and ideally a man should marry early in order to focus his energy on more important things.

Western media and feminism has brainwashed both women and men. Women are no longer willing to follow their traditional roles as child bearers while men are told that it's cool to chase tail until you turn 50. Many guys think they are George Clooney or something, although they don't have the fame, the looks or the money to back it up.

Fortunately, feminism and the Western media has not destroyed Polish society yet although it is changing rapidly for the worse.

What was the population of the city? As you live in Krakow you could try also Katowice, a small student town

Katowice has a population of 300k and silesia has a population like warsaw, it is not so small. He means rzeszow or tarnow with a population of 100k

(05-23-2017 05:22 PM)Sleek2b Wrote:  Hi Guys,

After reading many messages here I have to give you an update about troj miasto.

First about my situation (sinc esomeone earlier mention that I probably don't bring enough value to women here). I am just going to mention few facts:
- I am below 30
- I own a flat 10 min from Sopot on top of one of one the tallest building (doest mean much in trojmiasto ^^)
- In the top 3% of Polish salaries
- 6.2 foot,1.5+shoulder to hip ratio
- I am quite regularly approached by women, I even had girls going to introduce me their friends, I had some histories of girls scratching (yes) my body... mostly below 7s though

So I must have a bit of value somehow.
But I also think I am an anomaly. People with my success are not suppose to live here. People never believe me and I constantly feel in-congruent. I feel much more at my place in high-end place in the west... and I am actually better received

Anyway I am going to say I am very annoyed with trojmiasto recently.

About the girls

The quality of girls has dropped a lot.
Gdansk has become the hipster place. And Sopot starts to be heavily affected.
Almost 1 girl out of 2 has tattoos... WTF.
Also they take less care of themselves I notice (at least for the single ones)
I rarely see stunners in the street.
Yes there are stunners in some nightclub, but guess what? in all fancy clubs around the world there are stunners!
Also be ready to game kiddos. I have no interest of talking to girls who think they are super intelligent because they have a local degree, meh.

About the nightlife
Someone has to introduce a door policy, it is unbearable.
Polish guys are useless but there are also the biggest unconscious cock blockers ever.
That's the first time I notice a club turning into a complete sausage fest by 2am because the guys scares all the girl away from the dancefloor.
AT the end you have all the girls around the dancefloor, pissed off and about to leave... while guys are spilling their drinks around.
You have to experience the 2 min rule:
You dance somewhere and you have fun, girls are attracted by you having fun (and not being a drunk idiot) and starts surrounding you, then after 2 minute the boars arrive and scare them off.
There is only 1 club worth it. The lack of door policy makes the places unpleasant.

About style
If you don't leave in Warsaw through that blazer away and wear a cap. Cap is the fashion, you wear it on the opposite side and it makes you look cool. Does not matter witch cape. Ho and wear a tank top or some jersey. Yea you are stylish.
You give a shit about a suit? that's for try hard
I have the most success here with a fucking t-shirt... yes i do enter clubs in t-shirt. Yes it is stupid.
So forget about style and polish women opinions: it is like bringing nuclear energy to ants.
People do not respect you wearing a suit, even to go to work, they just look envious at best

I wonder if it is a remnant of the communist era:
You should not look different. Everything is very codified. style today = cape, t shirt, tattoo
You don't have it then you do not fit in the cool category

About the language
Learn the basics, no point to learn polish, the language is useless and bring little ROI, learn Russian instead.
All the guys I know who speak good polish have LTR with 6s... yeaaaaaaa
The advantage of a very good polish is you can identify the low lifes by the mistakes they make in their speech.

About age.
I think the place is ideal if you are into your first job and below 25. After that it is tough. At nearly 30 I almost feel like 40. I feel so old because of being surrounded by kiddos.
Also you have NOTHING of value to you as a growing man not speaking polish, no business club, no seminars of great interest, no networking event for professionals.

Demographics
It is Poland and a second tier city.
The land of the magnificent 7s
Anything more is hard to find and will probably not speak English.
By 25 most girls are taken, it is weird if you are not in a relationship
Also the jobs are mostly outsourcing, so honestly most people are pretty dumb or low class.
Smart and successful people go abroad or to Warsaw. Same for most hot girls.
So in their mind: what a successful man is doing here?

I think Poland is best to upgrade quickly from 5 to 7 for people who do not have great experience or high value. But once you are very high value then it is like a bell curve and you feel frustrated simply because you hit a wall and realize that there are many boundaries

How do you find foreign men working in the tri-city area in terms of their social circle integration and possibility of polish partners? Is there a decent expat population in this area at all?

If 25 is the cut off age, then guys who want to stay long term have little chance unless they come to Poland for uni which is rare. This seems to be similar to the western countries of today (actually worse then for eg Australia where 30 is said to be the drop off age for guys) where the relationship oriented ones are taken by 25 leaving the rest. In the case of Poland, there wont be much of that 'rest' part it seems.

RE: The Poland thread
(05-24-2017 06:33 PM)Burner Wrote:  I've lived in Poland for numerous years, but left a little over a year ago. Here are some thoughts:

-I think Poland is more geared towards guys in their early to mid 20's. I'm pushing 30, so not sure I'd go back. A single guy in their 30's is pretty weird in Poland. Your potential pool is low class wies girls or crazy girls (A girl in their 30's that isn't married in Poland is weird or simply a career/western minded woman). But then again, I knew a 42 year old Aussie that was making out with younger girls on the regular.

-Girls in Poland are very submissive, so they are really looking for a dominant male. You can't show hesitation or a lack of confidence. This usually puts a dent into your chances anywhere in the world, but I noticed it had a major impact in Poland.

-Girls like in shape guys. A lot of the guys in Poland are skinny fat or just big with no muscle definition. A lot of this has to do with Polish cuisine. I was probably at my peak in Poland - 5'9, 180 lbs, ripped. 16-17" arms, 46" chest, 29" waist. I got a lot of looks on the street because I wore fitted clothing, not baggy crap. Nothing fancy, a nice fitted t-shirt, decent pants and shoes. I found having a good body in Poland lead to more opportunities than any other country, besides maybe some of the South American countries.

-Get as many contacts/leads as possible. Flaking is a real problem in Poland, girls would flake out on me constantly. I would usually go no-contact and they would eventually send me a message to meet up. By that time, I forgot all about them because I had other girls on the go. I had a lot of close calls with double bookings.

-Poland can be tough at the beginning, but once you create your competitive advantage over your competition it gets easier.

-Coming to Poland for the short-term usually leads to poor results. Pipelining before can be useful, though. This leads to a lot of guys getting frustrated.

-Living in Poland long-term is really only worth it if you are able to get a decent paying job or are a freelancer. Wouldn't throw away potential income/career interests just to get laid.

-If you're looking at LTR, be careful, a good portion of girls have some sort of religious belief. This is almost a guarantee in the countryside. Lost a girl because I didn't want to go to church with her every Sunday.

-Best girls to target are the girls from the countryside that are moving to the big city in the fall. They have less exposure to foreigners and the big city life. Get to them early before they change their habits and attitudes.

-Nightlife on weekends is hit or miss. It seems like everybody is at the bus station on Friday afternoon taking a bus back to their hometown. The guy to girl ration is not favorable and most of the guys are tanked and looking for any opportunity to fight.

-Found more success day gaming and setting up dates on weeknights. ALL of my bangs were from internet and day gaming. Probably because I quit wasting my time at night clubs very early on.

I'll add more later, but that's the most important points.

Good points.

How was the level of game of the locals?

You said that you were close to 30. From this, can we assume that having success with girls who are around 24 has been difficult for you? This means that there are not a lot of post-uni career girls available.

Lot of complaint on friendly Poland. Daygame in my 3rd world city is like nightmare (I mean as an average local, as a gringo is f... easy). General unsafety and street harrasing make girls start running when touched slightly in the shoulders. But thank to that I got a great calibration. These harsh untrustful limeñas make that even argentinas and españolas look receptible in daytime. I will test Poland soon Smile

@Naughty_Boy: already checked Katowice, surely attitude of girls is better than in Krakow, but many thugs and generally a bad nightlife. I don't like it.

Anyway this period is so disappointing for the number of flakes and "busy" times for all the girls. Nearly impossible to set up a date. May and June is definitely the worst period in Poland, due to the exams, social circle meetings, etc. There are more girls on the streets, but it is frankly absurd how lazy they are when they cannot find a couple of hours to meet. Main difference between Ukrainian and Russian girls opposed to Polish girls is that Polish never enjoy the moment, they always think in the future with stuff to do, strict schedules, etc. Russian and Ukrainian are moore flexible and they are able to define priorities based on the instinct.
Off to the 3rd/4th tier city as well tomorrow! Tiring but the fatigue allows me at least to have fun and a good party, in Krakow it is impossible!

I actually understand why people hate on Poland even compared to western nations. Poles are even more careerist than westerners and have attitudes that are overly passive. 7+s are just as rare as in the west.

Many of us have just "graduated" from Poland despite being a land of easy lays and sweet girls.

Anyways guys it is exam season so eastern Europe in general its gonna be a bit hard

RE: The Poland thread
^ The truth is that Poles are pretty much the nerdiest people on the planet, no competition there.

After the wall fell, the country was in chaos, so it was all wild and crazy. Girls couldn't control their life due to external circumstances, so they went into "anything goes" mode. Plus foreigners were exotic, so it was good times, although Polish girls were always emotionally convoluted to an extreme, and you had to deal with that when you tried to bed them.

Now that life in Poland is much more comfortable, their nerdy character came back big time. There is no such thing as a cool Polish girl. Even the cool ones, once you get to know them, are basically reciting from the 'standard book of cool' so to speak, and cannot for the life of them come up with something of their own.

Their characters are nearly identical to one another, in an almost spooky way. That's because they don't really have a character. There's a national 'meta character', and everyone follows it, scared to death of being different, cause "what will everyone think of me". That's Polish mentality in a nutshell. There are exceptions of course, but way too few.

Their tight schedules and obsession with career or studies is not an illness they got from the West. They were always like that, maybe even before the West was. It just took a back seat for a few decades due to external circumstances.

That being said, why is it that foreigners that cannot hit it off in Poland keep coming back or are sticking around? Polish girls have a certain warmth that other girls simply don't have. So when you go to other countries, you may get laid more and girls will be much less annoyingly nerdy, but, there's a certain warmth missing and you just miss Poland.. and come back. And so the cycle continues.

Malo is absolutely Spot on. 75 % Polish women has NO personality and are the hardiest triers when it comes to being miss goody two shoes. They are sweet in nature but has the PC opinion on every aspect of life until you get their confrontational side out in an argument or any other way and then you see their extremely ignorant and NON PC real opinions !

The remaining 25% are the up and coming Kardashian clan generation who overcompensates and fake lipped insta hoes who instead of being sweet are edgy but ignorant in a toxic way and they have no opinion or culture on anything other than make up, instagram and going from pout to deepthroating.

Generally good considerations, the only cool girls are the ones who traveled or lived abroad. You can actually find the best Polish girls in London, Milan, Berlin, etc. Generally the fact that they follow blindly like ships the indications of family, church, government makes me prefer Western girls who at least have some personal idea about life and are considerably more free.

To each his own, I find those girls to be the worst. They are usually the ones who have no clue what to do with their lives. Eventually they end up leaving Poland again to hook with some foreign guy, basically doing exactly what their Polish counterparts would do back home but hey, at least they rode the carousel much longer, that has to count for something...

I need to ask you guys: latino guys (specially from Brazil) are like the top tier in Poland ?

I remember when I went to Krakow and Poznan the amount of girls that would flirt with me. Even in buses.

RE: The Poland thread
It is rather a bottom tier since as Brazilian you are not Polish, don't speak the language, have no local connections. Flirt doesn't bring girls into your bed in Poland, it is simple politeness. Get girls of 6.5/7 even for a LTR is arduous here despite what has been said on the forum. It is easier in Brasil or in West.

Once again, I don't agree with Giacomo here.

Surely, being exotic alone doesn't get you an 8, but you would probably have more value than in your own country and there's still a fare share of "latino/mediterranean" groupies in Poland.

I actually met a Brazilian guy who was killing it in Krakow. Granted, he had a great apartment, good social circle as well as a solid bankroll, but the bottom line is that it's doable.

Attention, Poland expert and international playboy GC speaks for Brazilians. Not only this, but he drops nuggets of advice: don't bother learning game because flirting doesn't work. Instead, just be a nice guy and be extra polite and your chances of getting a girl to bed will be higher.

@Malo

I completely agree with you. I have been working and living in Warsaw for a while and I noticed these traits as well.

I think Polish girls can be split into two main clusters:22/23 max student types and 25+ wifes/career women. The former are (used to be) generally friendly, laid back and with many interests/aspirations. They have a lot of free time, very tonic bodies as well as super shaped legs. They fuck a lot, often in a relationship, but they do fuck a lot. I have to say, though, that I notificed in clubs an increased resistance for kissing and social control: it is not like it used to be until a few years back where you would ALWAYS dance for a while, get a boner and then start making out. Tattoos and westernisation have picked up but pearls still exist.

After 25s the rat race begins: job-wedding-flat-kids for the family oriented ones, job-career-flat for the career driven ones. Most of these girls become really unbearable and quite boring: no items for discussion other than kids/career, swamped into 35-year mortgages which limits their possibilities and flexibility, at times quite frustrated and a duplicate of the other ones. In general people in Poland tend to follow role models and to align to what it is supposed to be vogue. The careerists may look more interesting at first but then it is all about work and success.

Being surrounded by Poles only at work, I find them to be a bit odd although some of them are quite good fun. The worst one are quite greedy as often they have a modest background and the current gentrification results in wanting more and more from the employer, provided that at 5 pm they can flee the office. They are also very stubborn and in Warsaw there is that sense of superiority which completes this not very promising picture. Long story short, it is not often easy to find in Poland, within white collar workplaces at least, inspiring or charismatic people.

In some cases women end up with a divorce very early, before 30, and are very horny afterwards. However they may be considered not a first choice for a relationship due their burdens (mortgages, divorce, kids).

Bottom line: Polish women still have that allure and physical aspect which is intriguing for a man. Said this, probably from a cultural point of view in Poland you won't find a big diversity. The same will be with relationships with girls. I would avoid westernised / travellers as they are the worst in my opinion and instead would recommend students as they are the best Poland can offer. Last but not least, past 25 ladies do age quite quickly and this can be clearly seen in legs (perfect and tonic at 20, with growing flaws from 25) and faces.

Caveat: the above describes the general trends I have come across, but as anywhere, many exception exist and these can be a pleasant surprise. My 2 cents.

Foreign Men In tri city

I would say you have 3 major categories:
- tourists =thirsty dogs, to avoid.
- over 30s and married to some local, you will meet them only in office environement
- Students, but erasmus is not such a plague here.

For the category of young male professional it is actually pretty rare.
There is not an important expats population, polish people will almost never assume you are an expat, as opposed to Warsaw, because it barely does not exist.

About integration of the foreign male. At the end of the day you have to understand that it is more of a village than a city.
Everytime I go out now there is 80% chance I bump into an ex or a girl i am currently fucking. If not I will sometimes meet a girl who saw me at the gym ect.
So you can have pretty quickly a reputation.
If you stay long term do NOT use tinder, I have some of my girls who will tell me that one of their friends saw my friends on Tinder. Its looks desperate.
You need polish to build a social circle, and like any european city of that size, people who stayed there have the same circle since childhood.
Also the smartest and most educated people will have probably move to Warsaw.
You have to understand that even for Poles coming from another city, integration here is hard!

I think once you reach a certain level and status, troj miasto,is not a good return on your personal investment compared to Warsaw.

It is interesting for guys who are used to date 5s and 6s in the west and can upgrade to 7s just with an exotic factor.
But for the very high value guys, you will get bored and have very little opportunity both at a personal and business level.

It is not related to Poland itself.
If you are an English man going to a 3rd tier city in France, you will probably have the same experience.
Don't let the metropolitan area of Troj Miasto fools you, it is probably like living in a city such as Nantes or even Dijon in France or Bournemouth in the UK

RE: The Poland thread
So, is it just my town, or does everyone in Poland have the shittest haircuts you have ever seen.

It must be about 65% of the women I see here have shaved off the sides, cut the top short, slapped some paint on there.
It usually looks like a Smurf has fucked a pineapple and this is the end result.

I'm going to start a facebook page dedicated to it - Shit haircut shaming
I just cant believe how so many of them do it!

What the fuck is the thought process behind that?! "yeah my husband is going to love it when I come home looking like this!"?

Also.
Whenever people come to visit me they always ask "Why do Polish people look like they have stage 3 liver failure? why are they so yellow?"

We tried to google it. But couldn't get a good answer.
What do you guys think?

The less fucks you give, the more fucks you get.

Not only this, but he drops nuggets of advice: don't bother learning game because flirting doesn't work. Instead, just be a nice guy and be extra polite and your chances of getting a girl to bed will be higher.

You wrote a post that wants to be ironic but I underline what is actually fairly true especially if you are Polish. A direct and confident approach with flirting works well in West but in Poland you are quickly regarded as a player and it is not accepted well. I had a SNL with a Brazilian girl operating in this way few years ago, it wouldn't have worked in the same way with a Polish girl. Yes, probably at that time my nationality, international background and look were a good match for a pretty Brazilian girl also.

@Gopnik, again, what we keep repeating is that:
- look/fashion style
- tanning
- savoir faire/game
- confidence
- foreign nationality
- backroll/social status
- traveled/interesting life
- gym physique
Are all factors which are important to increase your SMV in Western/South American/FSU countries - with surely some countries differences, but they aren't giving you any kind of competitive advantage over the average Polish guy in Poland. Interest in a "mediterrean/latin groupies"? You are the foreigner perhaps number 10 of the week that is talking to a girl if you live in a 2nd tier city. And even if the previous 9 foreigners "didn't do their homework" unlike you did, you will be just the n-horny "mediterrean" guy for them.

A pattern that happens usually is in the night is:
- you approach, receive initial interest from a girl (wow, he is Swiss/French/Spanish/Greek/etc. - good looking, confident guy, soooo cute when speaks Polish)
- you could even start making out with her (more frequent in the past, now you should at least spend 1/2 hour of dancing/talking/stuff; previously it was almost instantaneous)
- you make escalation, run game, she rationalizes that you are a foreigner, and she starts the usual line "you as a foreigner want only to fuck"
- this is not a shit test that you can overcome with a prompt answer, I made several attempts or even ignore and my friends as well but nothing worked. She already changed idea and she is ready to leave. You can try sometimes to say: "are you able to just enjoy the moment, drinking a glass of wine, not thinking too much about what will happen" but even if you are really interested to meet again this girl, generally she then will not answer to messages/flakes
- and maybe you will see the same girl with a Polish guy later.

Then the main question is about your post: "I actually met a Brazilian guy who was killing it in Krakow." - what doesn't it mean? He was really actually bedding girls or just receiving random interest which isn't going anywhere 99% of the time? Would this guy with the same background be able to do a lot better in the West? (Arguably the answer here might be "yes!").
You should regard yourself lucky to have the chance to live in Russia where at least the girls like a "strong/confident/responsible of his actions" man.

Some possible reasons: Feminist mindsets, attention-seeking, low confidence

I noticed it mainly in Warsaw though, not really in other polish cities, at least not to the extend you are describing.
