It is true our culture see catcalling as natural and a good old pastime as shown when older black guys were hitting on that white girl in Minnesota thread. Do it create certain behaviors such as being hostile to any words come prodding out our mouth, direct or friendly. No eye contact and all frowns. Girls wonder about their sexual morals. Thick and curvy girls become more insecure and will try to downplay their body. Enchance street smart to be extremely wary to avoid a physical or sexual threat especially if the man get frustrated and lash out verbally. Or even worse. Girl lying about their relationship status. A resounding yes.

This has been going on forever. I'm on the phone, but there is a old Worldstar video of a black dude getting troll hard by a chick. By 16, majority of girls are equip to handle us. And for all the complaints black girls are still getting pregnant, teasing back, discussing with their friends about men, cheating, dressing sexual, and crying about having no men, etc.,. Shrug.

This mean on contrary to feminist views, men and women interact with the opposite and same sex daily. I can walk by and another man will give me the nod, offer me an opportunity, or talk. In fact, people will often comment where they see you and how you carry yourself to at least ease the tension of just being strangers. Impossible to act like a ghost, so if you're wary just be humble. Just like a woman getting harass, us men can get into it as well. But that is not good way to live.


Which bring me to my next point. I have one advice if you're a black dude unsure about your looks and scared to talk. Take a walk. Now at the last minute, look back if you see a female. Not for her ass, but at her head. If you caught her looking back or a slight head turn. A big booty cutie who is attention starve decide to call up her cute pal. They proceed to walk and whisper " Will he look?" Cute pal will report her findings to big booty cutie. You hear yelling and denial or dreams about lack of a man from a group of single and taken girls. Guess how these scenarios turn out while walking. That right, you wouldn't know because you kept your mouth close. Or you believe in nonsense such as the problem of catcall and other trash.

The Village Voice is reporting that the woman who starred in this video, Shoshana Roberts, is suing almost everyone involved. She feels she was paid too little ($200) and got nothing but hate. Plus (get this) even though she auditioned foe a viral video, she didn't think it would go viral. Hahahaha.
I think it serves them right for pushing their bullshit agenda with this fabrication of a video (I consider selective editing a form of fabriction). They should have known there would be blowback.

Debjani Roy, deputy director of Hollaback!, says Bliss approached her group "to see if he could put a call to donate to Hollaback! at the end of the video to raise awareness about street harassment." A blog post on the Hollaback! website publicizing the video has been removed, but here's a cached version.

TMZ also reports that Roberts is suing Google, YouTube, and T.G.I. Friday's — which released a parody video called "#AppCalling." (Most of the parody videos were terrible, but that one is especially bad.)

YouTube! Google! TG-effing-Fridays! Who else will she sue? Ironically, not any of the men who allegedly "harassed" her in that video.

A copy of the initial filing can be seen here. Just to clarify for those unfamiliar, in NY the "Supreme Court" does not mean the highest court here - it is the initial court for civil cases.

I don't know NY Law well enough (yet) to competently comment on this, but from a brief review of the law I'm confused at exactly what they are trying to argue here. While there was no written consent, she volunteered to do this. There seem to be exceptions where a photographer, for example, uses his model's pictures in his work. Sounds like it would carry over. Also the compensatory damages seem to be housed mostly on emotional distress, so any real money she would get would be from punitive damages.

This completely reminds me of those companies who hire women to meet diversity quotas, but then the women don't like the company, find something wrong, and manage to either sue or extract money somehow and leave. So, the company then goes back to the recruiting board of finding women to meet their diversity quotas, after losing a bunch of money hiring them in the first place.
