I can't believe these teachers are that stupid.

Pro tip for everyone: If you don't want the pigglets to find something. Do not ever send it electronically. Apps/tech companies are required by law to save your shit (email, snaps, DMs, texts) for 5-10 years.

If it comes to it: discuss it in person or over the phone (if you're not being wiretapped).

I don't even write crap down, destroying paper could be considered "destruction of evidence" or "obstruction of justice".

Edit: If it's sensitive, ask the person to turn off their phone in front of you and place it on top of a table. This is in addition to leaving their stuff in their car.

^ do you know for a fact that is the case with Snapchat? Genuinely asking here since I thought that was safeR (assuming no screenshots by other party). I have yet to read one case where Snapchat texts were admitted as evidence.

Well...you got me on that one. My knowledge of these things is outdated, but my "extended concern" is based on the NSA/DEA/IRS doing parallel construction.

I guess in this case while the cops do not have definite proof, they could say "So what was Mrs.Smith doing sending snaps to Timmy at 3am on a Wednesday night?". Also, people are dumb and will save their snaps on their phone's memory. People are gullible and will hand over their phone to the police when asked because "they are the police".
