The only reason I think I might be okay is b/c this girl is Ukranian with Ukranain friends/values even though she has lived in America for 15 years.

Tonight was 2nd date - we were both tired and both get up early Monday AM for work. She brought me a book for my Bday and we had only 2 glasses of wine each and split an entree. The talk was fun and good but we only hung out for 2 hours and then I walked her to her condo nearby. Kiss was not passionate and somewhat awkward, and she broke it. She seemed bashful. Apologized about it.

If this was an Americanized girl I know I'd be dead in the water. But man I really like this chick - I'd drop my slutty harem for her in a heartbeat. Any analysis? The gift was a good sign but that was purchased and thought out before tonight, in the afterglow of what was an undeniably great first date. Tonight was what I'd call a mediocre date by any stretch. Should I play it super cool and not text her for a couple days just to get hamster going? I feel like I need advice and hope I didn't lose the frame tonight.

She texted me after the first date and thanked me and so far no such text tonight. Should I wait til tomorrow to text her and thank her for the book?

I don't think it went that bad. Think about it. When would an American chick be thoughtful enough to bring you anything on her own. You want to encourage this good behavior.

I would continue to game her. Get her out on a good night. And go for the bang. And yes I would thank her for the gift. It gives you an excuse to contact her.

Don't start liking her too much until you *know* she likes you much more than you like her i.e. to the point you don't have consult this forum asking for signs. Right now it sounds like you are losing the who likes who more war.

I know I sound like a huge puss in my post, Travesty but trust me, I'm not. I've got dates 5 out of 6 nights this week with girls other than her (she's not written in stone yet but I"m including her in that tally) and I'm banging 3 of the chicks and obv. shooting to convert the other one as well.
