Anyone into fantasy basketball? I have a league with my buddies but would be cool to get a forum league going. I know lots of people here follow the NBA so why not make it competitive.

I'm thinking $50 buy in, doing it on Yahoo with their normal rules, head to head, 9 categories.

1st would get $450, 2nd $100, 3rd $50.

Up for it?

Yeah, I'd be interested. I'm a huge hoops fan. This is assuming I can still participate being based in the UK.

I'm def in..although I've only played in points leagues never h2h...I think points is better for basketball.

I'd do it...but how does it work exactly (assume there is a draft like Fantasy Football but just how many players, point system, # of games etc.) Thx.

Ok draft is snake style. 12 teams, so you get first pick the first round, last pick secon round, first pick third round, last pick fourth round, etc.

There are 9 categories, not points like football. Points, fg%, ft%, 3s made, rebounds, steals, assists, blocks, turnovers.

You have one opponent week, set your lineups daily. Whoever wins the majority of categories for the week gets a win for the week.

13 players on a team, up to 10 play a day, with positions being Pg, Sg, G, Sf, Pf, F, C, C, and tyree utility guys.

Fantasy playoffs are during the last few weeks of the regular season.

Def think point system is better for basketball seeing as the there can be big variations as to how many times teams plays per week when playing h2h unlike football.

Ok so I started playing Fantasy Sports for the first time ever. I participated in a league. My team is kicking ass...except...I don't know how to start or bench players. So I have zero points.

Yeah I'm dyslexic because this is my first time playing fantasy. How do I start and bench players via Yahoo interface?
