Basically I am helpless when it comes to online game. I only have one meetup come of it so far, after sending at least 100 messages. My profile and pictures are good, I just have a shitty time making conversation when they reply. Working on a blank profile seems impossible, and when they mention interests I think I'm coming off stupid talking about them.

First off my reply rate is low, I keep using "hey" or "hello" thinking that will land me a reply and it almost never does. I know there are many suggestions on the other threads here, but which one seems to be a winner to you? I'd like to try it and see if more conversations happen.

So did the lack of a reply to the last one mean she went cold or am I supposed to keep pressing on with something else? If I thought it would work I'd go instantly to a meetup with anyone that replies within 2 messages. Too early to ask this one out?

Going against some of the basic rules like replying at a 3:1 ratio and waiting less than a day after she waited 2 days. Also be aware that with email notifications on she gets a timestamped mail that tells her you were looking at this conversation (and thinking about what to say) for xx many minutes between messages. I avoid sending multiple messages unless I know exactly what to say ahead of time and can rattle them right off, making it seem like I'm less invested than I might actually be. Often for a mid length message I'll write it out in almost entirety, cut it in half, send the first, paste the second half and quickly send to create the same impression - quick thought to text conversion and low investment.

Last bit comes off as approval seeking, you should be qualifying her - "But do you have the palate to know a good cup of coffee to match the decent ear for tunes? We should put it to the test "

Still, it wasn't terrible and the fact that you are both into some obscure band I'm surprised she dropped it.

Unless they have something specific in their profile wording or pictures that you have in common or can mention I always open with "You look like trouble", as recommended in the Tinder thread. This has about a 90% response rate.
I tried a lot of other opening lines but that one has been by far the most effective.

Typically just having a conversation is a bad idea at the start, you aren't creating any interest or mystery or making them qualify themselves.
I always keep the initial interaction light hearted and fun and give away as little about myself as possible. For example if a girl asks what I do I either make a joke related to the prior conversation or I just ignore the question completely.
After you have established some initial interest you can branch out but don't get bogged down in boring, every day topics from the start.

There's some good stuff with building rapport, but don't forget about attraction.

It'd help to see the response times. I can see she responded to the triple message two days later, and that you answered her the same day. You should have waited. If she makes you wait two days, your next message should come no sooner than two days later.

The other point is that the endless back and forth doesn't do much good. It's better to ask for number sooner rather than later because her inbox just got another message. Get her offline. When she finally replied on the 6th, I would have asked her out (on the 9th). Something to this effect:

"agreed

anyway, we should get some drinks and talk music. let me know your number if you're down"

The last point I'd make is that every message doesn't have to be clever. I tend to use two messages to ask her out (especially if she bites hard on the opener), but three works too. 4 or more rarely happens.

Here's another one that seems to be going well, however I'm starting to run dry on my "alpha" lines to feed her. When should I go for the meet/number?

This girl describes herself as being a tomboy, but hides it to appear "normal" (ie. feminine). Although I really am attracted to the tomboy type.

She followed your lead on your first two messages and you got a good response from her. Follow up with another attraction builder (any type) AND a normal rapport question. Ex: "You look like a fan of sushi...ever been to Joe's sushi shack (insert place)?" (cold read then rapport/projecting)

She responds. You come back with "what's your number we should get together"

Jerk store message was ballsy because (1) if she wasn't a Seinfeld fan she'da had no clue, and (2) it's another line of sarcasm.

Online game sucks, you're fighting an (even more) uphill battle. Good luck.

Push for the number more agressively, ideally within 10 or even 5 messages. If you don't then you might find yourself in a never ending loophole of online banter and qualification. When she said she couldn't I would have just said something like "Give me your number so we can shedule a more appropriate date" or even better: "Name and number.". No question mark cause you know what you want and what to do.

Now that I have her number, what are good next steps? Should I banter a little with her every day or ask how she's doing? Or just wait until the day that I'm free and hit her up early on to set a time to meet?

I used to use elaborate online game with funny jokes and fancy lines.

Now its a simple three step process...

Me: Cute pics
Her: Reply
Me: Lets meet up soon and do something
Her: Reply
Me: Whats your whatsapp
Her XXX-XXX-XXXX

If she doesn't play ball then I move on.
Standard text and call game from there on out.

I might miss out on a few leads but I still get plenty of lays and have cut out all the bullshit. I let my photos do the talking and try and stay as mysterious and brief as possible.

1. something ridiculous, funny, and obviously not true
2. followed by a requalification

Examples:

"I'm a secret agent, but I think you might blow my cover."

"I don't own a single pair of jeans. What's so special about you?"

"My dog died today."

So many guys get into "interview mode" so easily online, where they just answer all the boring questions. Fuck that. Be interesting, be different, make her intrigued.
