Agree, I was swiping Tinder in Cancun area recently and most of my matches were in the 28-35 range (I'm 36), hooked up with a 30 year old local. In Colombia, I had no problem meeting girls in the 18-24 range.

They go for older guys because older guys have more money. A girl told me this herself. In latin america we like older men because the more older the more money was her exact words lol. If you have money you wont have an issue in medellin even without spanish. Assuming you know the basics .. if u dont know a single word it will be a waste yes.. If you dont have money and are cheap then you will struggle. Money is power in medellin .

In places like europe and america money will do nothing if you dont speak the native language. But in colombia its different assuming you speak basic spanish... and arent a fat slob etc with no charisma.

But if you are an average joe and average status then yes you need spanish..

I think I might save Colombia for when I have a bit more cash and age then, I loved Mexico to death so a return is needed, I think as a young guy this time I will spend less time in Mexico City and go to see more of the country, especially up north which is totally different from what I’ve heard.

I disagree about Colombia being a place you HAVE to know spanish. I went there originally not speaking more than a 4 spanish words. Was it difficult at first? Yeah. I almost got mugged living in fontibon area near the airport. But then I met some girls via Couchsurfing and learned a lot(turned her into a mini LTR to learn more about the city and having a place to stay and not pay and have pussy when she’s back at night). Eventually I learned some spanish but it was always horrible. I got TONS of dates from pipelining Tindr before going and on those dates, I’d schedule 2-3 a day and normally blow one or two off depending on current girl I’m gaming that day. Girls in Colombia do prefer a guy that’s older looking at least. I was getting much better responses with my beard than without. Google translate 100% helped me get lays and also using kino for escalation with broken spanish and the gringo foreigner complex I had an amazing year while living there. Read through the Colombia master thread. You’ll learn a lot. Either way OP I’d go with A but that’s my opinion. if you want to get out of your comfort zone go for Colombia. I actually prefer Bogotá over Medellin because there are less tourists and the way your treated as a foreigner imo is different then in medellin. I spent maybe 2 months in medellin and 8-9 in Bogota. Haven’t been to Mexico yet so can’t give my .02 on that.

I was all of those things when I was there -- and I never touched Google Translate once, let alone used it for an entire year. Better to master the language. Anybody here really want to be tapping on your phone to hammer out a single sentence when you've got a dressed-to-kill 9 waiting for your response on the other side of the table at Juan Valdez?

So you’re all of those things plus you speak Spanish? My point was that if you lack Spanish then you have to make up for it somehow which is what I assume was the case with Womenluvdeez. The issue is guys who are none of those things reading a thread by a guy like Linux who killed it without Spanish and thinking they can replicate those results.

While I have not been to Colombia yet....it is certainly next on my radar. I can tell you that Mexico City is a good spot even for quick lays. I got my first lay in 3 days from a girl I met at a party.

I spent 18 months in Mexico city and about 2 weeks in Guadalajara.

I'll be dropping a data sheet on my Mexico experience very soon.

If you dress well as in have style and either looks good or are good looking and have some degree of a game and some Spanish you can clean up in Mexico.

ND, I also had similar impressions of Mexico, it is indeed fucking awesome. If you say that there is such a big difference between Mexico City and Guadalajara then it will be on my list 100%, maybe Monterrey too as I have a girl I met online who is inviting me.

Yes I am good looking, tall, in good shape and dresses with cloths that fit and I have money to have a good time BUT I am not advocating he doesn't try to learn Spanish though as I learned it little by little by cab/uber rides (many drivers will like to "try" to practice their English) and meeting multiple girls daily from Tindr which some speak great English, some a little or broken, or none at all. I did take classes but not at a uni because I kept fucking missing the deadline to sign up by a day or 2. I did take group lessons which really sucked unless I wanna learn how to pronounce the alphabet.

I am saying google translate worked miracles and learning over time really helped since my main plate was a Colombian and she didn't speak/understand English.
