That's rookie logic. Some girls feel like they need to put in their nos and not yets. Let her back off a little. Do the one step back, one step forward. If she keeps hesitating, you may have to wait for a future date.

It makes things a bit ankward and probably means she is just not ready. She is not in the mood for that, but if you know her weak point, attack it now. For most girls it's kissing in the neck, I had one girl whose weak point was when I eat the bottom part of her ears. Attack the weak point and focus on that for at least 1 minute, then go again for the approach.

Got her number last week. We work together at the same time. Do it when isolated in smaller rooms (we both hit the gym 11pm-1am) when the gym is empty. Not doing it while actually working out though.

For me, craning usually occurs during the make-out phase. After 10-15min I'll attempt some boob action. If I get craned there, I go for the neck as an earlier poster mentioned and try again later. After boob contact, I slowly make my way south of the border. If I get craned there, I reach my other hand behind her back and pop the bra off (I usually leave it on while getting the before-mentioned boob action). This usually results in laughter and her trying to put it back on, where I then hold her hands and continue the make-out. Its a solid way to deflect her denial and show that I'm calling the shots.
