Fun!

So we'll go from the First Black President to the First Native American President? Banana

Where do you see "Native American" on her? Is this some "my grand-grandma's blood makes me 1/32 Cherokee" bullshit?

I don't remember the whole story exactly, but I think Fauxcahontas claimed she was a Native American to attention whore and benefit from affirmative action policies.

But yes, it's something ridiculous like that.

It's not even a conspiracy or a condition. It's a simply a mathematical fact that for most people, your vote doesn't matter in presidential elections. Unless you live in a swing state, your vote doesn't matter.

Even in many congressional districts (such as mine) your vote is a mathematical irrelevancy. The two party, winner take all system guarantees that.

Hilary may very well be, as Sp5 says, prone to feminist overcompensation to present the mask of a "strong woman leader." Obama has been rather weak on ISIS. His "strategy" is half-assed. There is perhaps an understandable reason why that is, but Hilary has already indicated that she would present a stronger front, which could mean an escalation to ground operations (which I actually think is safer in the long run than this nonsense regarding the "moderate rebels").

It all depends on how big of a threat you think ISIS is. Just don't be surprised if Hilary thinks it's a bigger threat than Obama does.

Hillary will be taking on ISIS, the Assad government of Syria which is fighting ISIS too if it is still around, and Iran, which is fighting ISIS too. Which will be a disaster.

Red Pill politics lesson:

Any political candidate wgok is truly a giant the status quo is always marginalized within the party.

Both the media and political machine work to keep this up as good honest work by certen congressmen gets lost in the motions of Government on the hill. Dudes like (D) Alan Grayson have been keeping it real and 100 since day one and he even complains about how he at times get put on garbage duty, in Canada the term is "back benched" when your put on crappy committees as a means of keeping you in line and your mouth shut. You either get bogged down with the work or you get frustrated and become a Independant (or switch parties which many do here in Canada).

I say this because any front and vocal force of any crony established party is compromised like all the rest. There is no better alternative when the top players are ammonia and bleach.

This is hard for people to grasp that Rand Paul has zero credibility. His father spun his wheels for decades to create a small industry for himself, he built up enough capital to run as a indepdent but never chose to. I will say his father did at times get squeezed within the party, he was very much "rouge" and not good for the GOP crony brand but as time went on you could see he got more comfy as his popularity sored. Ron could of easily of been a Nadar whom would of had no shot due to not having the crony corporate class behind him but whom had such a profound effect on the system he is forced to be included in the records and decussions for the rest of time and his issues and platforms will also have to be addressed in tandam.

But for Ron Pauls son Rand? His son sold out 100% to be given the higher platforms his father was never granted. This "chance" Rand Paul has in. 2016 will simply via the same manufactured machine that gave Obama the same chance. The money might come from different hands but the greater forces all push the political class towards the same direction.

Its the good men you don't hear about whom are the few honest men left in Government. Rand Paul is another spin game to marginlize liberterians even more to make them easier to cut off the wagon when the GOP is forced to throw in the towel.

You can't on one hand be weary of the political system yet still hold blind faith for a man knee deep in its crony workings. Rand Pail will sell you out as a man just as quick as Hillary would if given the same powers.

In the words of the American Officer in command of the garrison of Bastonge when asked to surrender by the Germans, "Nuts."

Your analysis of Ron Paul is completely off. He succeeded in doing exactly what you claimed he should have done. His views on the Fed, foreign policy, economics, and personal liberty are the foundations that the libertarian wing of the Republican party is based upon. The Tea Party movement was inspired greatly from the End the Fed protests Ron Paul was responsible for, sadly it became co-opted by the mainstream Republican Party.

Hell, we likely wouldn't even be talking about things like the gold standard, non interventionism, handling the debt, etc. if it were not for Ron Paul and Rand.

Nobody was talking about this sort of stuff before his presidential runs, the debates, and the Tea Party.

Second, there is absolutely ZERO evidence that Rand Paul has sold out to the establishment. His voting record is solidly pro-liberty and sound economics, since when has a Republican or Democrat bought and owned spoken out directly against the Federal Government? Never.

I can understand your cynicism, but in this case I believe it is unfounded. If we decide that there is nothing we can ever do and nobody we can ever believe in, then we may as well give up now, slap the handcuffs on ourselves and spend the rest of our days playing the fiddle while Rome burns.

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."

I think what Kosko is saying is basically that both Rand and Ron are controlled opposition. And I agree with that. The overlords like to throw the public a bone every once in a while just to give em the idea that there's hope.

Indeed. Having been intimately involved with the 2008 Ron Paul campaign I can honestly say I have never seen so much cash, so many feet on the ground and so much enthusiasm turned into nothing but dust in the wind.

I will avoid Ron Paul, his douche bag son and the Campaign For Liberty like the plague until the day I die. Controlled opposition is right.

The revolution will not be televised.

That's exactly it. She put it on college applications, etc - totally used it to get ahead. But when someone asked for any evidence, she hemmed and hawed and spewed some bullshit that "Well my mother always said we have high cheekbones, like the Cherokees do". Can you imagine a male politician getting away with that hamster-speak??

"Fauxcahontas" is a PERFECT name for Mzzzzzzzzzzz Warren !

In the 2012 election the two best candidates were actually Ron Paul, and then Jon Huntsman - who is an extremely underrated candidate.

There is no alternative in 2016, it has to be Rand. I really hope the guys who can vote in the US go out and vote for him in 2016. People might try to trick us into thinking this would be another Obama false hope situation, but it is not the same. Rand has a proven record. Obama had only words. Rand might have shit policies, etc [even though he does not but lets say he does] but he understands one thing foremost, and that is that being President does not make him King. If he only carries out on his one promise to get rid of Executive orders, that might be enough of a precedent.

Otherwise all the things about him reaching out to non-white voters, democrats, etc, is true.

He is the only hope b/c he has a record? Don't Jeb Bush, Christie and other governors have more of an executive record? Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Paul. I think he has a higher ceiling than most - a chance to be the next Reagan. But because he has so little of a record, he could also be the next Obama: COMPLETELY out of his depth governing. Let him serve 8 yrs as Governor of Kentucky or Vice President or something before we turn over the keys to the FREE WORLD to the guy!!

Everybody keeps forgetting that there will be a pendulum swing after Obama (the first black president)...back towards the safe white male. It will be unstoppable and all other political calculations won't be worth shit.

I do think that Democrats tend to delude themselves. I remember when Bush ran against Kerry and all my Democrat friends were SO confident that Bush would be crushed. When he won handily, they literally were crying, confused, as if they couldn't comprehend that yes, the rest of the USA didn't share their hatred of Bush. It was embarassing to watch them.

RE: Warren Buffett predicts Hillary Clinton will win Presidency in 2016
My biggest fear regarding this election cycle is that people who typically vote Republican will decide to cut off their nose to spite their face. Because Hillary's war chest is growing exponentially every day, and she doesn't seem to have any legit primary challengers on the horizon (and I mean legit, not fringe loons), she has a lot of momentum on her side.

Meanwhile, the problem with the primaries this go-around is that people will treat it like a purity test, thus ensuring the extreme-right (unelectable in the general vote) gets a ton of support. This is not the time for that nonsense. Don't base your vote on, "Well, Candidate XXX has the specific narrow view that I have regarding Federalist papers 104.C, therefore I'm going to vote for him and contribute to his campaign." Seriously, this one time, this one election cycle, all of that has to be put behind us, and everyone right-of-center needs to coalesce around whichever single candidate stands the best chance in the general election.

If not....well, it won't be the liberals that make Hillary win. It'll be the myopic Republicans.
