When viewing threads in a subforum, you can click the reply number to the right of the title to see the users that are active in that thread. Why would you do that? I'm not sure, but it's there!

To the left of the thread title in a subforum listing is an icon that looks like a sheet of paper. If that icon has a dot on the top left corner, you've posted in that thread.

If there's a thread you like and want to save for future reference, click the "Subscribe to this thread" text link at the bottom left of the page. To view subscribed threads, click the "User CP" link at the top of the page next to the time. You can also see the activity of threads you've started.

The Buddy List functionality is now working. Visit a member profile and click "Add to buddy list" at the bottom right. Then you can click "Open Buddy List" link which is at the top right from any page. The buddy list lets you easily PM friends and see when they were last online.

Under the buddy list link on the profile page is an Ignore link to hide posts by someone you don't like.

To embed videos, click the "New Reply" button, then the TV icon in the top right of the text box, and then the video service. Enter the normal URL of the video.

The embed video feature is very helpful, except that there is no text in the TV dropdown box that appears to indicate what line is the correct one to choose for the site to imbed from.

For example, if I want to embed a youtube video, I have to guess the correct line to select in the TV drop-down menu. Youtube is easy to guess because 'Y' is at the end of the alphabet, and therefore I guess that the last line is the correct one.

Is there a way to hide avatars? Trying to speed up the site as much as possible since I'm usually on from my phone

houston: You can view the forum in lite mode by going to
/archive/index.php

Another forum feature is that you can save your posts as drafts before publishing them. Simply hit the "Save As Draft" button underneath the post. You can do this for both threads and replies.

To go back to your drafts, go to the User Control Panel then click the Saved Drafts link on the left column. It will be highlighted when you have a draft saved.

If you look at the very bottom of the page in each thread you can see all the other users viewing the same thread
