Well - since a glorious and prosperous country like the USA has money to burn and it's people are living in stupendous wealth and prosperity the US government has decided to sponsor research projects that are close to the hearts and minds of it's ever growing fat female population.
Of course fat boys are known to be lazy and disgusting - they should just lose some weight and man up. The research projects leave them thus aside - by far more important are the fat girls and their problems:
Glorious Study Nr. 1:

Of course it is absolutely preposterous to assume that men are equipped with an inner instinct that tells them to not find those chubby girls attractive. Their lack of dating success must obviously be rooted in their lack of social skills and in those sexist male pigs who are "brainwashed" by pretty actresses in movies to believe that all women should be slim.
And glorious Study Number 2:
Why are American lesbians so fat? So far they have spent $2.87 million dollars and are planning to spend another $670,567 this year.

As we can see already in the outset of the "study" sexual discrimination against lesbians contributes to them being fat, while sexual discrimination against men contributes to them being slim and trim. It reminds me of Global Warming - it is hot due to Global Warming and now it is cold due to Global Warming.
Physical activity contexts should be modified for the entire population to make lesbians more welcome? Seriously?
They should have studied why so many lesbians are also very ugly and so many gays are quite attractive. That would have made more sense, but then again that would be sexist.
No study is worth it's salt if in the end the white heterosexual man cannot be accused of something.
