Sarcastic remark about the lack of diversity in roofing. No wonder roofs lack curves. (apparently roofs is the right plural, that threw me a little)

That 10% of men that are Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses are slaying it. Problem is, they're slaying it with this:

"Alpha children wear grey. They work much harder than we do, because they're so frightfully clever. I'm awfully glad I'm a Beta, because I don't work so hard. And then we are much better than the Gammas and Deltas. Gammas are stupid. They all wear green, and Delta children wear khaki. Oh no, I don't want to play with Delta children. And Epsilons are still worse. They're too stupid to be able to read or write. Besides they wear black, which is such a beastly color. I'm so glad I'm a Beta."

Can you cite where this came from? I'd love for 538 to come out with some red-pill stats that I could share.

RE: Male/Female Participation by Trade infographic
Just looking through the top positions that females occupy, I cringe when I imagine myself doing any of those jobs. They're all jobs of servitude. Receptionists, nurses, librarians, social workers.

Meanwhile, look at the type of jobs the majority of men occupy: Drillers, carpenters, electricians, machinists, aircraft mechanics, and so on.

Having worked in cold ass Edmonton, Alberta for a couple of years now, I can tell you that the salaries of the top men's occupations are much, much, higher than what a clerk or kindergarden/earlier school teacher makes. Granted, occupations on the medical side pay very well (i.e. dental hygienists, therapists, registered nurses), the wages are no where close to what a boilermaker, railroad conductor, or heavy duty mechanic are capable of making.

The most ironic thing about the whole pay wage equality debate is: the jobs that mostly men occupy (according to this chart)? They are equally available to women as well. On the blue collar side, your certifications matter: it shows proficiency in your trade of choice. By simply acquiring the certifications relevant to your trade (meaning taking the time to go back to school and acquiring the knowledge, as well as time on the field to apply that knowledge), you become that much more valuable to the employer.

The more schooling and experience you got, the more qualified you are in attaining your relevant certifications. The more certifications you got, the more capable you are to complete whatever task the employer has on hand for you. In my experience, working in the oil & gas industry here in Alberta, proving proficiency is of utmost importance.

Seems linear enough, right? For most guys up here, it's obvious enough.

For the large, large majority of women: Nope. Some of them would rather be an assistant or a...typist...

And feminists talk about why the pay wage is not equal...

Not if there's any strength required. The average woman can't press weight from chest height for shit. Unless you're training millions of women to go Starting Strength full retard, this isn't going to change.

And women are physically weaker and more frail in other areas, to a lesser extent.

Agreed.

However many of those occupations listed on the men's side are more technically inclined, or they may require working with your hands but not where heavy lifting is of primary concern.

My sisters are nurses, the dudes they work with it are slaying it but not with chicks. One of their valedictorians was actually a dude, the only one in the class. I was 11 or so and even I knew this kid was a flamer.

I'm sure some male nurses are doing well, but it's not really a high status job. You're getting bitched around by doctors all day, the nurses just go for them. So in reality you're just surrounded by women all day and getting none of the benefits.

RE: Male/Female Participation by Trade infographic
For any young guys reading this, take a serious look at those jobs on the list that are 90%+ male. Notice those are all "real" jobs, doing "real" things (i.e. not shuffling around papers or engaging in other white collar makework). Those are the jobs of the future. They will be the last jobs overrun by feminist bullshit and political correctness, and they will also be the last jobs outsourced or replaced by robots. If I was 18 years old today I would easily choose an apprenticeship in one of those skilled trades (which would teach me real, productive skills with which to earn a living) over going to college (which would simply be four years of progressive/liberal brainwashing accompanied by tens of thousands of dollars' worth of non-dischargeable debt).

Also, the sheer quality of life/satisfaction difference from working in an all-male environment versus a heavily female environment is enormous. It's such a stark contrast that you really can't even appreciate it unless you experience it yourself, but maybe the best way to describe it is to imagine your levels of enjoyment when going out at night. One bar is 80% female, the other bar is 20% female. You'd obviously enjoy the first bar much more, while the second would be a miserable sausagefest. Basically, the same exact situation applies at work, except you reverse the outcome based on the sex ratios. For men, a sausagefest creates the most desirable and productive working environment, while no greater nightmare exists than to be forced to work in a heavily female environment. The difference lies in the distinction between work and pleasure. Women contribute nothing to the former, but are obviously wonderful for the latter.

"For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away. But the word of the Lord endureth forever.” - 1 Peter 1:24-25

Testing medicine, blood samples and such in laboratory settings. Shorter education, less need to make decisions on the spot, same as with dental work. Those fields seem to be very popular with Asians, Persians, South Asians (women) for some reason.

Librarians being so predominantly female is always an odd one. I think it's mostly because a lot of jobs that come under the Librarian umbrella are service jobs. It wasn't always this way, historically when Librarians were the keepers of knowledge, rather than community service staff, men obviously ruled the profession.

It doesn't help that most female Librarians are hopeless when dealing with the tech/systems side of the profession, either. Funnily enough, Systems jobs are much better paid.

I work with a lot of boilermakers and have only met one female in the trade (the 0.2%) and I use that term loosely, she was more of a man than most guys on here, my trade is 98.7% male, hopefully it stays that way.

If I was a design guy

- add years of schooling/training
- # of people doing those jobs
- salary

If you're a young person, you want to know
- how long do I have to suffer in school
- will I get a job
- will they pay me decently

Human resources is one area to reform immediately if you want to reverse the trend of corporate deadweight and staffing entire buildings with politically correct sycophants.

Hiring and firing control must absolutely be under the authority of practical male influences. Female psychology is completely unsuited to hiring or screening individuals for a large organization. It's too often colored by degenerate cultural influences and petty emotional weakness.

Look at the pigs with wigs in your average human resources dept. The U.S. is letting these people become the gatekeepers of multi billion dollar enterprise?

There's something very satisfying about seeing the job title, "Drillers of Earth".

Can you imagine going into a bar and when the chick asks you what you do for a living?

"I'm a driller of Earth."

I'd hire a dude to play a trumpet fanfare behind me every time I say it.

"...so I gave her an STD, and she STILL wanted to bang me."

When I was a public defender / criminal defense lawyer, roofer was one of, if not the most, common occupation among my clients. Not the business owners, the workers.

Casual, cash work. From the civil side of my practice, I learned that roofers also fuck up a lot of jobs because they don't follow the building code and don't install underlay, or nail shingles and flashing properly.

I think roofing is a great business with minimal capital requirements - if you do it right.

Good roofers are rare.

There are uglies in every profession. Male nurses have a lot of good looking nurses to pick from. Female nurses are absolute sex pests once they are free to do their own thing.

I haven't come across one single nurse, be it dentistry or hospital work, that wasn't pure filth and wanting a good fucking.
