Would this be a good restart text?
Background: yesterday I was at the car dealership and I had to pay for some work on my car at the teller. She has a good looking blonde so a flirted but I didn't do a full approach (ask for number, etc). So on the drive home, it bothered me that a pusses out so I called the dealership and said I left my sunglasses at her counter. I was put in touch with the blonde and I said now that you have my number feel free to text me sometime.
Half an hour goes by and here is our convo:
Her- I have to say that props to you for being that up front. It's Stacey, by the way. ?
Me- I really did lose my shades, but I figured I should at least give u a chance to text me
Her-Haha do you remember having them when you came in? But yeah, I think you came in last week and I thought you were cute. So this is actually really funny to me that you did that
Me- That's what I was thinking.. I may have left them at work. Yeah I came in last week and bought a car. You shoulda said hi! Haha
Her-Haha hopefully you did and they aren't lost for good.? Haha I'm shy when I talk to new people so I would've been hilariously awkward. I probably would've like tripped or something. Haha
Me like an hour later - Maybe we should do something this week, so I can see your awkwardness in action
What do you think? Should I just leave it like that or maybe restart text her today and say I found my glasses (never lost them anyways). Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

RE: Would this be a good restart text?
Main point: Please do not restart today.
Weird as this sounds, the odds are against you because you're asking a question about a specific girl.
This is the perfect example of fucking text tightrope that American men need to walk with these women. ESPECIALLY when it's a good looking girl and you're in a dry spell or banging sub-par looking women. Not saying this is the case for you, but either way it is vital to not give a fuck about the outcome. Easier said than done, I know.
Obviously she was into you. I don't know the time stamps on these texts and maybe you were texting back too soon. The exchange was small talk'ish and not very flirty. Blondie was begging for some more cocky/funny followed-by... "lets get a drink this week - tmmrw or thurs is good 4 me"
Still, -g-, I'm not even trying to throw salt. For fuck's sake, she introduced herself, said you were cute, gave props for the "up-front" approach.... in normal times that would lead to a meeting to get to know each other better... we do not live in normal times... this is a shit test... please don't restart.
If she texts back with "yes", wait over double-time and come back with something akin to the quoted text above. Become one with the tension.
To summarize:
1. Take near or just over double the time she takes to reply
2. In the future, shorter, cockier, funnier, responses will maybe get you to a meet-up with this girl.
3. God bless America.

RE: Would this be a good restart text?
She ended up texted me the next day and we met up (yesterday). She's only 19 so we didn't get drinks haha. It went well... She was completely submissive and offered to pay for my beer and our appetizer. Escalation amounted to some making out and she texted me after the date. I will likely text her in a week if I don't hear from her... But she will likely hit me up this weekend
Thanks for the advice guys
