I don't want to go to in-depth with the back story but bottom line is I called a girl (that I met at the bar last night) this morning to arrange a hang out. We agree to meet up at the mall to grab a bite to eat and just walk around.
As I am standing waiting, she makes very brief eye contact with me and immediately looks very worried / anxious and she continues walking forward with her head now deep into her iphone. I text her saying "you walked right past me." Don't get a reply for another 10 or so minutes saying "wait, this isn't jamie?" and I say no, it isn't. Her reply was "oh awks."

Anyways, I know you guys might be having a good laugh but I assure you this girl did NOT mistake me for someone else. The minute details that we discussed about over the phone while taking were relevant only to me and her. I could not conceivably think of any possible way she could not have known that I was the same person she was talking to last night, considering that we talked for over a solid hour while her friend was getting very well gamed by my wing.

So, my theory on this is that perhaps she was way too shy / anxious / worried to meet me in person during the day? She is only 18 years old but still, could you guys think of any other reason a flake like that would occur?
I am not a GQ cover model but I am also not a mountain troll. Not to mention she was the DD that night so she was sober when we met.
Has a flake of this calibre ever happened to you guys?

damn that's funny. i wish i had a wild story like that.
i wouldn't get too caught up about it. there are a MILLION different reasons why she could've done what she did. Ranging from she doesn't think you're hot enough to she got scared cause she's 18 (i guess you're a lot older) and suddenly realised how dangerous/risky it was. You'll probable never find out.
Thinking about it too much will only hurt, make you second guess yourself etc. she's ONE 18 year old girl, does her opinoin of you really matter?

That's too funny, this is a candidate for flake of the year. Just rack that one up in the "L" column and move on. And by "L" I don't mean "Loss", I mean "Lols". Game creates some of the funniest moments that other people will never come across, just laugh it off and on to the next.

Nomado - how would you have gone about this differently?
Girls from the bar are notorious for not putting forth any effort to set-up a hang out the next day.

Or perhaps I need to improve my game to get it to that level, but as it stands I will definitely have to be the one setting up the day 2's with these bar sluts.

I had a makeout session with a German girl I just started talking to in class last Wednesday. We talked after class and she said we should hangout some time.

At this point the line "we should hangout sometime" is the cue to ask her for her number, which she gave. To me phone numbers are completely meaningless and don't mean shit, only that you made a chick somewhat comfortable long enough to want to be nice to you.

I text her once on Thursday: "what time r u free tomorrow?" (assume the sale)
She says she has no firm plans but will be spending time in the library studying.
I text her around noon on Friday: "on campus"
She replies back 'Me too' and that she'll be free in 30 minutes.
I reply back "cool im in the computer lab"

Bam. she shows up and we hangout on some couches outside the cafeteria in a private area. After about 20 minutes of talking I tease her and she slaps me on the knee. As soon as she did it I grabbed her hand, pulled her in, and we were kissing for the next hour.

Does this happen all the time? No. Is she a foreign chick that doesn't know anybody here and is looking to hookup with an American? Probably.
All that aside, note how nothing about the interaction was planned; it just "came together". Women are most inclined to meet up when it's convenient and spontaneous. She told me when and where she was most likely going to be and I just happen to be in the neighborhood.

The first text was the riskiest part of the interaction because it could have just as likely been total radio silence after that (note I didn't introduce myself over text, she got a completely random message saying "what time r u free tomorrow"). The Friday text was also risky but she was more inclined to respond because it was completely free of any type of obligation and it was spontaneous and convenient for her to just wander over and meet up.

That's a pretty funny story, but I really wouldn't worry about. Virtually all 18 year old females who are at least decent looking are going to be immature and fickle. There are so many reasons that caused her to do what she did, but my guess is that she was very shy.

Honestly some more detail about the final moments before the number exchange would help me understand this better. It seems strange she'd do that unless it was literally mistaken identity.

Then again I never try to understand a womans logic in a situation like that.

Western Cancer - I suppose I wanted to hang out the next day because truth be told, I didn't have anything better do to
