My phone sucks big time (has an internal memory of less than 100 MB, making it impossible to install anything, even if it will be placed on SD card it still has to pass through internal memory first) and Bluestacks for some reason can't load on my PC.

Remember to constantly keep asking and donating to your Clan Castles, and also put the Clan Castles close to the center of your village so that it is difficult for the enemy to draw out your troops. A lot of players' attacks will get completely fucked because they did not draw out the clan castle troops. Generally archers are the best go-to troop to donate. Don't donate giants, wallbreakers, etc.

Most of the times your CC and resources need to be better protected than your TH.

SS, thanks for the info. So I googled a bit, I can move my buildings as they are being built or upgraded, right? I have been dropping the buildings down based on where the game has been suggesting, but I think I need an organized strategy.

My other question is, are there some screenshots or articles that lay out the optimal build strategy? I have another 2 days with a shield. I am just raising my storage and production capacity. I boosted to TH2, but some article I read said to slow down on upgrading the town hall. Not sure if that is right.

I have been getting a lot of my info from wiki.

Slim Shady - why is it better to get archers? They seem to be able to take low damage. Usually one mortar or two takes them out.

Guys build up your clan castle asap so you can join our clan.

Edit - benefits of being in a clan; 1) your clan will donate troops to you. This allows you to take extra troops to battle during raids and clan wars 2) your clan castle troops will act as defenders when you are raided 3) during clan wars even if your clan loses you get a lot of extra loot. If your clan wins you get even more.

While your still in the shield, use the single player quests to attack goblins. This will give you good practice on strategy and you will learn how different troops move and react.

On a serious note, get this before messing with the TH too much more? Just get storage to the point where it can hold 40k gold. Don't mess with defense until the shield is almost down.

Archers are excellent on defense because they attack from a longer range than Barbs, and can also attack air troops, which become more of a problem later on.

It's true that on attack it seems better to not have archers right now, but as you get on you will see that you want something that can shoot over walls.
