Not getting the iPhone6 as I just bought an iPhone 5 in April.
I just heard that there was a recall on the iPhone5s batteries by Apple. Is that true?
The battery on my brand new iPhone5 is horrendous and barely lasts me half a day. I have to charge to twice a day just to get through the day. I'm mot doing anything crazy with with just messagng girls, emails and browsing sites.

Btw, the IWatch looks simply stunning!!! Does anyone know how much it would go for?

I'm gonna get one, simply because they're simple and work. I'm a luddite and this is important to me.

My 4S is three years old and falling to bits.

I don't get the high emotion some feel (for or against) towards mobile phones and the choice of others…it's odd.

I don't understand what these phone cases are for. Unless you intend to use your phone as a hammer, it's not going to get scratched by rubbing against a layer of textile fabric in your pocket or bag. If I got something sleek like an iPhone 6 (or any Ultrabook, for that matter), I'd prefer to look at it directly and enjoy the elegant design instead.

Verizon is offering a $200 giftcard if you donate your old iPhone and sign a new 2 year contract.

My 5 is shit, I didn't fall for the 5S. I'll probably get the 6, then again the Samsung Galaxy/Note's look pretty bad ass.

Unless your old iPhone is a complete antique or really beat to shit, you most likely can get more than $200 selling it yourself, especially if you have the box, charger, cable, ear buds, etc.

Hell, broken/completely submerged/dead iPhones can go for ~$100.

I use/have used various models of both the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy; both are fine devices. I don't get the whole "zero sum" game fanboys of each have.

the iphone 6 is late to the smartphone party for at least 2 years. As far as I can tell there is nothing "innovative", "revolutionary" or even.. new, quite on the contrary. It's only an upgraded product.

I'm 18 and the most I use my iPhone 5s for is to play games, call people, text girls, and sadly......social media. Other than that only care if I can change the font, get all my apps for free, and for a long battery life which it offers me. On the other hand, don't get me started on my preferences for computers and cars. Phones are used for messaging and mobile distractions why argue over which one is better?

I haven't seen the iPhone 6 up close. I had a problem with an iPhone 4 where I assumed it was durable enough to not need a case. The outer lens on the camera was flush with the body and got scratched. My pictures came out poor. Once the home button stopped working right and I had an excuse to get an AppleCare replacement, I bought a cheap case just to protect the camera lens.

After so many iPhones coming out with features Android has had for years (sorry had get a quick jab at Apple out there)...

Smartphones are finally reaching the point Computers and Laptops got to 10 years ago...it's tough to go buy a new phone that sucks, whether iPhone or Android.

I love technology, but I use a 1-2 yr old smartphone. Why? (1) It has all the capabilities I need as the latest greatest, (2) I like to party (I lost my phone in Mexico last fall, broke two phones last winter, and lost my phone in Chicago earlier this summer). I simply go on Craigslist or Amazon or eBay and buy a new one for $80.

I just wish the Android OS was as clean and fluid like the iOS. Other than that they're pretty much the same phone.

Apple just does a damn good job marketing the iPhone.

Really not impressed with the phones. This seems like the first generation where Apple is really offering basically nothing different from what Samsung is doing. At least the '5' generation still sported a slicker case than any droid phone, but this one seems to have even lost that edge.

On the other hand, the Apple Watch looks genuinely luxe.

its been 2 and a half years since I got my last smartphone so I am due for an update with verizon, I might get the 6 plus if the battery is good, or just wait for the next iteration of samsung phones. I have big hands, and need a bigger phone.
