If anything we'll find out how deeply the SJW philosophy is ingrained in wider society. We already have 24/7 wall to wall coverage of this on virtually every channel (I found out about this latest info watching CNBC - apparently a couple arguing and assaulting each other trumps the goings on in the global economy). Social media is on fire and has already fired Goodell. Various op-eds have been written claiming the NFL has a 'woman problem' and doesn't care about women, as though there is a section in the NFL Rulebook titled 'Fuck Women.' Next, sponsors will start declaring that they're 'reevaluating' their relationships with the NFL and that's when heads will start rolling. I'll be shocked if Goodell survives this, simply because the moneyed interest is so beholden to the SJW element that they'll probably fold.

A did a little write up here, if you guys get bored and want to read.

Aside from my article, on the NFL knowing beforehand - all the signs were there. If you look at the Peter King and other reporter comments back then there were many descriptions of the video inside the elevator that were right on point. There is no question the NFL saw it, it is just whether Goodell saw it or his inner circle did and turned a blind eye to protect him.

Either way he's fucked, I don't see him outlasting this witch hunt.

Yesterday, I would've given Goodell 50/50 odds on making it out of this, but today I'd say it's less than even money. Multiple sites are quoting an anonymous owner saying that nobody's behind Goodell and Don Banks at SI is arguing that in Bounty Gate, Goodell handed out the suspensions, he said "ignorance is not a defense", yet he's claiming ignorance. Now maybe that anonymous owner is Tom Benson, but I don't know. Goodell's going to have it hard this year and the next big scandal it's all going to get brought up again.

With the situation right now, it's approaching zero tolerance for players, and we're talking about 22-25 year old men with relatively huge incomes. These guys routinely get in minor trouble, but with the environment now, if a player gets in a brush with trouble, a guy is probably going to get released. Who wants the PR headache? Then Goodell has to put on a show of being a tough guy, so he's going to start handing out suspensions for EVERYTHING. With players walking on eggshells, I'm guessing that the NFLPA wants management to offer up a sacrificial lamb too. Do the owners want to work in an environment where they could lose 3-4 players a year to a trigger happy commissioner?

I can't think of another person who would satisfy the god of Feminism. Can you?

It would truly be incredible if Goodell ends up losing his job over this. That might be the new high water mark for SJW takedowns, especially given how tenuous the case is for him having any culpability whatsoever.

I mean, there weren't even any charges filed in this case. No crime was committed. They got fucking married after it happened. Apparently, they moved on.

Given those facts, what the hell was the justification for handing him anything more than a suspension? There is none. It would simply be an arbitrary decision based on emotion ("OMG you hit a woman! You're banned for life!").

But then once this video came out, the mob started calling for Ray Rice's head. And Goodell gave it to them. Stupid mistake, Roger. You should have a better understanding of mob dynamics. Feeding their appetite for bloodshed doesn't satiate them, it only emboldens them and makes them more thirsty for blood. Now Ray Rice isn't enough. They want you, too, Roger. And I won't be surprised if they get you.

This really is nothing more than an angry mob whipped up by media talking heads and social media. It's ultimately all a bunch of sound and fury that signifies nothing. It's totally empty and toothless rage. 90% of the people talking shit about Goodell and the NFL will be watching playoff football regardless of what happens.

The mob frenzy dynamics of the mainstream media combined with social media are truly frightening, especially when they are used primarily to push the progressive/SJW agenda.

The only way to survive these media mobs these days is to take a completely unapologetic, even aggressive stance in your defense and to try to ride out the storm. If you're lucky another major story will break within a week or so and people will simply forget about what had them "omg so angry" within a few days.

Plus these NFL scandals are getting more and more ridiculous in an almost attention whoring sort of way. Just in the last 3-4 seasons we have had
a) Players lockout
b) Peyton Manning coming out
c) Refree lockout
d) Bountygate

and the list doesn't even include (I am sure I am forgetting a few) Big Ben, the ridiculous sanctions on redskins + cowboys on the uncapped year by the Mara moron, the redskins name, jerry's strippers AND concussions.

While the NBA does its best with its sterlings and hawks and Lebrons, its not even close. Sure the NFL as in 'performance on the field' is great but come on I am just tired of these scandals.

Don't for get the concussions fiasco or how Goddell bans away a right for a man to make a living if he smokes weed even though two teams fall within jurisdiction if it being legal. If you pop your fiancé your get two games or none at all ( San Fran DE), but if you smoke weed you get tossed out for way more games.

He ruined the Saints franchise from SB momentum from bounty gate when they investigated (extorted) confidential emails from the team and then through the book at anybody whom was loosely linked to it.

Goddell is wreak because he panders too much, overreacts to pressure, and isn't consistent. Say what you want about Sterling and Adam Silver but the man came out instantly and stated his position, didn't budge from it or pander, he used the fullest powers he could within leagues rules to ring Sterling out. Goddell wouldn't of done the same and as we see now with him blatantly lying on the video and what Ride told him that he is setting him and the league up to be SUED by Rice. If I am a Rice I am dragging Goddell into public opinion hell with me since they are trying to use him as the lamb that gets his neck cut. I'm suing for my lost wages and making Goddell have to talk under oath, let this dude hang himself in the courts.

I have never been a fan of Goddell and this situation could do him in. I don't want SJWs to win on this but I am torn because Goddell is a smug piece of shit whom has ruined men's lives and ability to make a living. Any idiot in a suit can make the NFL money, he isn't some messiah as some folks claim.
