Yes I think that Jakarta is a great place to get work done if you're the digital nomad type, as there's not much reason to waste your time outside unless doing some light daygame - it's hot, the traffic is horrible, and the city constantly smells like someone put a turd in the oven.

Take your laptop to Starbucks, then come nighttime decide which girl you want to meet out of the many that flood your inbox, after you boned her, then hit the clubs for a second shot.

If I could watch brand new movies in HD from the comfort of my home I would. Unfortunately they get released in theaters first. I get your point though but its not quite the same thing as what Im saying. If you drove all the way to the theater, waited in line for the movies, and then the movie was terrible, you might think it was a waste of time. My point is that clubbing for the most part is not fun. But then Irish came along and made all these great points. It is not fun for me but it is fun for other. Sorry for shitting on it if you love it Smile

Why would anyone ever go to the movies? It costs money and there is nothing more to life than securing bangs. If you spend money and can't measure how many bangs it got you it's simply a waste of time and money. Maybe some guys are into it, but only the odd ones that enjoy doing things other than banging random girls they don't know and have no connection with.

lol. average girl on tinder is a 4 and 5. Majority of them wear hijabs, too, so you can't really even tell what they look like. I try to swipe left on every hijab girl but its too time consuming.

I'd say maybe 1 out of 10 are higher than 7/10. Definitely seems like a low-hanging fruit city, if you want to get your pussy-smashing on and bang average and very plain (if not homely) looking girls.

How is the talent on others app such as Badoo, etc. Is Cupid any good there for meeting 8s and 9s? Or are malls and nightclubs the only place where you'll find a true 9 in Jakarta?

Don't think Ive seen an 8 the whole time ive been here in the malls, clubs, or online.
This is 100% a low hanging fruit city. Super easy bangs and as someone above mentioned a great place to focus on business if you are a digital guy because there is nothing to do during the day. Ive spent 2 weeks here and its enough for me. Heading out this week.

If you are the caliber of guy who gets 8s and 9s on the regular then stick to world class cities. No need to come to jakarta. If you are a male 7 and want to get hounded on by 6s then Jakarta is a fun experience.

What cities have you been where there is more than 10% girls over a 7? Aside from Kiev I dont think I've been to one.

The whole comment a little absurd. Maybe 1 in 20 girls on my tinder has a hijab. Out of over 1000 matches, I think maybe ten could be considered 7s based on their photos. Who knows in person. 0 are 8 or above.

Oh well, I guess our experiences have been vastly different then.

Personally I know and have banged plenty of 8s and above there. Few of whom I've ever seen on tinder.

But that's coming from someone who's been going there for 4+ years and put in the work to get into social circles and has the night scene pretty locked down. If however you're fresh off the boat arriving into the city I suspect it's a different ball game. Especially these days since tinder has seemingly gone down the shitter and the nightlife having gone a bit stale lately.

Unfortunately I no longer meet random forum dudes in Jakarta any more (unless vouched for). So if you're planning to visit the city but you're more into your day & online instead of nightgame, I guess on the basis of these reports then you should probably reconsider...

Maybe I have come across more negative than I intended. I repeat. Jakarta has been great. Sport fucking these little asian dolls has been great. When I say Jakarta is mostly 6s I mean a 6 face. Most of the girls I have been with here have had 7+ bodies. 2 girls I would even say had almost perfect bodies. Slim, booty, nice boobs, tiny but with amazing symmetry. All the girls I have been with here have been super eager to please and the sex really good.

Banging 6s is fun when their bodies are really good. You can get that here in abundance. So don't reconsider your trip off of my reports. To the contrary. I highly recommend this place. If you only will fuck 8s and 9s then this wont be the place for you. I suspect more of you are like me though and are not so picky.

was last there in 2016 . Yes I think this applies to almost all cities in Indonesia. Probably applies even more so to cities outside of Jakarta. If you are in more remote areas that get few foreign tourists you will be seen as almost a selebriti. Btw do you speak a little bahasa ?

Hmmm, dont want to spend too much I just want a place where I wont get cockblocked and I can reasonably walk to a mall to work/eat, I'd go up to around 30ish USD per night if the logistics are good.

It's about a 5 day trip if that matters.

Question on sim cards and taxis:

Is it a good idea to get your sim card at the airport, or should you go directly to a phone store, and how much should I expect to pay for a sim? And are the taxis safe, or can you book a Grab car from the airport without any problems now?

Get your SIM at the airport, it'll probably be more expensive but trust me it'll save you an absolute fuck tonne of hassle trying to get one in the city and dealing with non English speaking and monumentally stupid staff in a store. There are sim card stalls on arrival at both the international terminals the difference in cost for a card with a months worth of data should be fairly negligible anyway.

Taxis - when I first started going to Jakarta my friends there would urge me to always take a blue bird, silver bird or tiara. I learned that taking another type of cab isn't so much dangerous but instead you just have to put up with the usual bullshit of the guy turning his meter off and charging you 3x the rate cos you're a foreigner.

Grab works ok but I wouldn't use it if you're in a rush as you can be waiting ages for one to arrive, often you need to cancel 3 or 4 before one eventually turns up. You can always flag down a bluebird cab pretty easily but Grab drivers generally have a better idea where they are going as compared to the taxi drivers who are usually totally clueless

Having data and Google maps on your phone is almost essential as you will need to direct cab drivers most of the time (hence another reason to get a sim at arrivals). When going somewhere always tell the cabbie the name of the closest hotel or mall otherwise they won't have a notion where it is and will barely speak a word of English.

I have found a really good groove here. I think you will like it to.

When you start messaging them, are you guys getting this: "I'm just looking for friends here on Badoo/Tinder. I cannot kiss or have sex because I'm Muslim" or something along those lines?

I assume they're just trying to appear innocent but once you meet in person, they won't hesitate to go to your apartment, or am I wrong?

Regarding accommodation outside Jakarta, which do you think would be better for a 6-month stay: Airbnb apartment, hotel, kos or other? My accommodation budget is $400/month.

If you’re looking to hookup just filter those responses out. None of the conservative Muslim girls are attractive. I cant say I ever met more than a few that even bordered on cute. The only reason to meet them is if you’re curious to chat about other cultures and how repressed they are. There’s so many non conservative girls who are DTF. Don’t waste your time.

If you bump your budget up to 500-600/month you should be able to get a nice Airbnb in thamrin. But try making some lowball offers.

One of the annoying things about Indonesia is the shops sometimes give foreigners a hard time about selling a SIM card. Sometimes even with your passport they say no. A local is usually willing to use their identity card number to help you register.

I just did that. After some pleading the girl at the counter used her IC card but asked me to unregister when I left. If it’s telkomsel you just text “UNREG ____” to 4444. I always wonder what kind of problem they have if you lose their number and don’t do it. Probably nothing.

Thanks for the info. I'm getting ready to head off to Jakarta next week. Booked a place in South JKT. I hope that ain't gonna be a deal breaker for pussy delivery due to bad logistics. By the way my conversations are going with various different thots I pipelined, it shouldn't be. If I end up wanting to stay longer, I might upgrade to Thamrin.

What guys are saying about canceling on several Grabs before you finally get one to pick you up kind of worries me tho. I once canceled a whole bunch of times in another city in SEA and they fucking banned me from the app. I had to make a new account w/ another number and was stuck outside in the heat and rain for several hours. Is it really that big of a problem there with lazy drivers?

Btw, how long is the ride from the airport to central Jakarta?

The app won't ban you but with gojek I cancelled a dozen times or so because my office is next to an awkward one way system.

Didn't think anything of it then started getting a few calls which is ignored and then got a text from the office boy saying there were four angry motorbike drivers outside as the app didn't update for them ???

The ride from the airport to central Jakarta is as long as a piece of string.

Cool, I’m just trying to gather as much info as possible right now and the above site looked decent. I was just concerned the Jakarta100 might be dated.

GO-JEK stopped working for me after I canceled a bunch of times. I guess it was a ban. Girls told me it’s temporary if you cancel too much. I just used my local phone instead to order.

The nice thing about using grab bike instead of GO-JEK is they auto translate your messages. Stick with grab and only use GO-JEK if it’s not working.

You can also avoid the hassles by just picking more logical and convenient pickup point around your building than trying to get them to go to an unfamiliar area. Most of the drivers hangout on one corner for instance. So you’ll begin to realize what direction they are likely to be coming from or where they already are and just use that. It’s worth walking 50m to avoid the hassle of cancels and back and forth texting.
