I live and work in the burbs but can't bring girls home. So I tell them I'm kidnapping them and take them to a motel. I don't apologize for the sketch factor, I just tell them I'm getting us a room. It's pretty easy to tell if you can see enough of her Facebook pictures, and you can find almost anyone with the graph search if you know enough about them. Reverse image searching her profile pictures will often bring up their Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr etc which makes it even easier.

You know how high rents are here in the inner city these days man? We've been going through a real estate boom again since you've left, prices going up 10-15% p.a again like it was pre-GFC. Even if you share an apartment, paying ~$12k a year just on rent is impossible on a part time student income unless you come from wealth, even more impossible if you're saving to travel. I'm not that far out, I can live with a 20 minute drive to nightlife until I graduate.

Great data sheet. This has a lot of potential for the new jersey area. Unless you live in Jersey City, Hoboken, or Morristown you're dealing with the clusterfuck that is suburban sprawl and no public transit. Shit is set up to get you a DUI and keep you forever alone.

I was wondering how you might swing this if you live in a spot where it's not uncommon that a lot of the girls you meet online and even in day game live like 5-10 miles away? Just sorta set something up in their down and try to pull them back to their place?

That's what I've been doing. Currently living with the parents until I move else where in a couple months. I'm about 10 miles outside the city, and most of the people I match with/go on dates with are inside of it. I tend to meet up with them to do some various activity, and then either ask if they want to go back to their place or save that for date #2 if I want to make it a consistent thing.

Hey, great topic. It's funny how on TV and movies with bringing chicks home the guy always just happens to live right above a bar or something like that. LIke this post says many of us live in the burbs where logistics are tough in terms of location. I do most of my dating with online dating and though I can look within a certain geographic area it just so happens that most of the women I hookup with happen to live 30-45 minutes away so oftentimes its meeting somewhere in the middle. Here's my best tactic. Find a local waterhole, doesn't matter if it's a cool spot or not, mine is actually a hole in the wall bar, not really a cool place like wood panel walls, kind of dark, sorta a sports bar but more neighborhood bar than sports bar. Most people hanging out there are like 50+ year old men. The point is it doesn't have to be a hip spot, but I like my spot because I'm cool with the bartenders who happen to all be female. They know me when I walk in, tend to hook me up with drinks, are friendly and chatty with me and whomever I'm with. Basically I think it builds in a trust factor, okay this guy isn't a creep, this bartender lady knows him and seems to think he's a nice enough guy. HEck alot of times the bartenders when I go to the bathroom will talk me up to my date if we happen to be sitting at the bar. They also never call me out or make it awkward that I take a lot of dates there. This is a good quiet get to know you drink type place, it's also close to my home so I can close easily and if they do ride back with me I only have to drive them back to their car at the bar and not all the way home. I have a pretty cool bar district in my town but a good 20 min across town so not great for logistics.

I never really liked the idea of picking a chick up, especially when they live far. I gotta drive 30 min to get them, then to a location near my house, bring them home after a few drinks, fuck, I wanna go to bed last thing I wanna do is get dressed and have to drive them 30 min back home and then a 30 min drive back home for myself at the end of the night when I'm tired and just nutted and am just ready for bed.

You bring up a very interesting point. Many of the girls I meet on dating sites live in the city, many of the hottest girls are in the city. Many people in the city guys and girls I think have kind of an aversion to dating someone from the burbs. Even though it's not that far with traffic and the commute it's just a hassle. This is where I would often run into problems. It's not as simple as when your both in the city hop a cab, take the pink line, etc. Most people in the city don't have cars so it's either me driving into the city and I'm away from my pad and homebase and way too far to pull her back to mine and can't really force an invite for me to her place. The only other option is having a girl take the train out to the burbs, I pick her up at the train station 10 min from my house and then drop her back off for train. Only problem is train only runs to burbs until about midnight so you have to have them back by then or they are staying til the morning. Secondly, many girls for a first date or someone they don't know isnt going to want to take a train to the burbs, be an hour away from home with no transportation and be reliant on a stranger essentially

Gaming in the suburbs can be a real downer. You really have to be on point 100% of the time and grab every possible opportunity, because they are rare. I went about my errands yesterday and stopped in a couple of coffee shops and didn't find any girls to approach. Felt like a waste of time. I can see why online game becomes the most viable option.

Part of it may be seasonal. Perhaps it's not cold enough to get people in the coffee shops yet, and its too early yet for the malls.

I've done this dozens of times if not a sort of variation of this.

I disagree on meeting late on though. Especially in the winter months you should aim to meet earlier say 7:30 or 8. The reason for this is that in the scenario above you'd get the girl to your place by 10:30pm and she'll want to leave because it's "getting late" especially so when doing this on a school night. You're chancing having enough time for anything to happen. You want to meet her when darkness falls, but not too late. I do usually find it takes 3 hours or so on average to bang a girl on a first date when meeting at cocktail bar.

Secondly regarding transport you can always use a taxi or Uber if not driving and it will allow you to drink. It feels spontaneous to the girl and can add to her excitement. Do not use public transport (unless it's something sexy like a San Francisco tram) it will kill the attraction.

What you're explaining here is very similar to RSD Jeffy's technique of driving to the bar, saying "let's go" walking back to the car. If you build enough comfort and attraction it will work most of the time.

Lots of good info on here so far. Long time reader first time poster. I've been practicing game for about 5 years now and just moved to the US for work. Back home, I grew up in the suburbs (30 minute drive from dt) before moving out in a condo right in the city center, so I had to deal with this problem as well for a few years.

When I first got into game I always thought it was a deal breaker and big hinderance to my chances of closing. While the latter part of that may be slightly true, I was able to rake in closes using a few simple techniques.

For starters, if the chick I'm meeting has a car, I would get them to meet me at my place and then we would head out together in my car. Most of them had never been in that area before (since I would usually meet them in clubs downtown) so it was an adventure type date where we would explore the area together. Go down to the water and skip rocks, then head to this cool spot that played live music (usually jazz) while we sat on the terrace and enjoyed some drinks. Naturally, at the end we would end up back at my place and we head inside for me to show her whatever I seeded earlier during the date.

For ones that didn't have cars, I would meet them near their place with the goal of ended up at their place and then proceed to go for the close there.

If you get a chick that lives in a place where closing her is unlikely (i.e. lives with parents), you can still get the notch by being creative. Have her meet you near a park, pick up some wine/alcohol and cups together, and head to the park for some drinking and more.

I've also had the luxury of being able to use the guest bedroom in one of my buddies places.

There are many ways to be successful by thinking outside the box sometimes.
