I've seen this question debated before, but could find a thread on it.

Do you jerk off before going on a date?

I've seen two schools of thinking on this.

1) No. You want to keep your sex drive and desire high. If you shoot your load early, you'll have no motivation to pursue the girl, and close. Plus, you might not perform as well if you close that evening.

2) Yes. You want to stay aloof and outcome independent. If you don't desperately need to cum, you'll be able to stay cool on your date and not act like a horny fool just trying to get in her pants. Plus, you might perform better and last longer if you close that evening.

What do you guys think? Do you jerk off or not before dates? Do certain factors or situations change your answer?

Yes, but only because of a high sex drive. I feel more relaxed, then I have a bit of beer on the date and it is far easier to create a connection. BUT, I am talking mostly about FSU girls that I don't plan on fucking on the first date.

If I am in the West, I will refrain from masturbating because getting the girl into bed is the goal. But you shouldn't be so thirsty so as to create neediness within yourself, there should be a healthy balance.

I think that it was terrible advise from There's Something About Mary. I actually believed that advise in my younger days.

I never do. If I blow early, and go for the mouth and if she refuses then she gets rewarded with a blast in the face. Either way I just quickly reload another condom and get back to work. That is, in my opinion, the better option if you have a high sex drive.

I've actually done this for first dates when I've found myself getting too thirsty on first dates. Sometimes I will try to fuck a girl within the first hour or so and then the next day reflect back on it and realize I was way too horny and I line up another Tinder day and tell myself "ok I'm not going to be so fucking horny and I will plan on fucking this girl on the second date"

It takes a lot of pressure off going into the date knowing that my balls are drained and I don't have to high pressure sale this girl into fucking me the first date.

Now the only downfall is if she is actually dtf on the first date and your balls are already drained I know that I don't perform as well if my dick is already satisfied.

At least 12 hours before your date. That's how long it takes to regenerate a load.

Does this horrible advice comes only from the movie "There is something about Mary"?

If so then guys who fallow this advice are morons because even in the movie (watched it recently) this advice is given by a rival who actually secretly wants to sabotage the hero's chances with his date!!!

For me restraining from fap gives energy to lead the date. Fapping makes me uninterested and lazy and this means I may give up on the girl.

I usually don't because it seems like I'd be less sexual in general, but what's funny is some of the best sex I've had has been after I've already jerked off that same day!
