Daly referenced the 45-year-old's interview with Gloria Steinem this past February at the MAKERS conference where Aniston said, "Being a woman, your value and worth is associated with your marital status or whether or not you've procreated."

Aniston expanded on this idea, telling Daly:

I don't have this sort of checklist of things that have to be done, and.. if they're not checked, then I've failed some part of my feminism or my being a woman or my worth and my value as a woman because I haven't birthed a child.

Aniston went on to admit that she truly has no idea why people care so much about her prospects of having children. "I've birthed a lot of things," she told Daly. "I feel like I've mothered many things and I don't think it's fair to put that pressure [of having children] on people."

At her level she could get a man easily. The problem is she got alpha widowed by Brad Pitt during her last window of fertility. Hard to bounce back from. She'd have needed to pop out a kid months after losing one of the most attractive high status men in the world.

She's a typical woman. She has money and security therefore she doesn't "need a man".

Women used to trade their youth and beauty up front for a life of security providing they take care of man's children. That's been the deal since the dawn of time.

Since she no longer has youth and her beauty is fading fast and her eggs are few and far between ...she has nothing to offer a man. What man would want her for anything other than her money at this point? She's completely delusional.

Not only that. I think they interrupted the interview, since it seems to me that her voice broke and she started crying when she talked about having children.

My guess is that she waited too long and seeing how her ex Brad Pitt makes one baby after another with a woman who is 7 years younger and more attractive (and even more successful for what it's worth) than her must be really painful for her.

Like so many women before she sacrificed her fertility to an Alpha and her "career". Now she has to hamsterize her unhappiness away.

Only very very very few women can be happy without having children. If it is 10-20% with men, then it is likely 1-2% with women.

There's something wrong with her. Or maybe it's just me. This fall it will have been about 20 years since the show Friends first appeared and people started making a fuss over her. She's quite attractive and has retained her looks far better than most women her age. But she's always lacked sex appeal. More so than just about any female celebrity I can think of, she has not one bit of sexiness about her. She's very good looking, but something is missing.

The years have taken their toll on other hot women from the 90's too. Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock look botoxy now. Pamela Anderson has turned into a scary tranny. I saw an advert recently for women's face cream and it was apparently endorsed by Skeletor.

I thought to myself: "What the... Skeletor?!?"



Then I realised it was, in fact, Claudia Schiffer.

Nah, it's not just you. Even in her prime, she was vanilla ice cream: maybe you'd eat it in a pinch, but it's not something you'd ever rave to anyone about having tasted.

When she married Brad Pitt, the disconnect was obvious. When he left her for Jolie, it was like nature's equilibrium was restored.

Ignore the fake scar, but look at how mid-40's HR worker plain she is.

Agree, that's her appeal and why so many women like her. Remember, back in her day so many women dressed and styled their hair like her.

I would argue she's not a dog, at least not in her prime. She had a cute, girl-next-door quality. At least she was feminine. She's certainly light years ahead of the current most popular woman on TV, Lena Dunham.

Either way, it should be a lesson to younger generations. If Jennifer Aniston had trouble locking down a guy and having a baby, what does that say to the majority of 'independent' women who think they can do whatever they want for however long they want?
