She isn't fat. Average looking, but NOT fat.

In today's world, she's "thick" or "curvy".

But 40 years ago, she would be seen as fat...which she is.

He doesn't own Goldman Sachs or Halliburton, he's not Gloria Steinem, and he's not sending young men and women overseas to die for the rich. We should emphasize with him if anything. He's doing what his handlers are telling him to do if he wants to remain employed (see Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus, etc.). He's a just another victim of the Marxist music industry, build an artist up just to tear him back down. These guys just don't go "crazy" for the heck of it.

The hate he gets from guys is because of his bubblegum pop music and attention whoring lifestyle. He might eventually grow out of these antics and become a serious artist one day in the footsteps of Justin Timberlake.

I think a lot of the hate Beiber gets since his earliest pop days is his transformation into a psuedo hip hop persona. Dude is from ontario canada, not a region known for having a legit street cred or huge international pop music presence. Coming from beiber a "wigger"-like urban swag seems less authentic compared to a dude like eminem who grew up in one of the murder capitals of north america, Motown a city with a long tradition of black music. Similarly Justin Timberlake hails from Memphis a city steeped in a soulful musical heritage.

Canada simply doesnt strike many people as having any edge (yes, i know there are hoods everywhere, even sweden). Drake faces some of the same hate Beiber does for this reason. Some people view them as soft canadian artists overcompensating with a "street" image.

Canadians don't and will never have swag....or street cred.

That's like saying Texans are tree hugging liberals who support socialism....

RE: Suge Knight Shot
Suge has lots of street-beef.

- BET afterparty, my buddies afterhour's joint go shot up. Suge knight has just left maybe 15 mins earlier.
- Miami beef. I think he almost got shot in some parking lot.
- 1OAK.

Dude has way too many close-calls. I'd stay far far away from him.

The bigger concern is what is going to happen to 1OAK- the hottest club in LA. Shooting tend to drop club value.

Question for people who know more about rap than I do:
Suge Knight was super big in the 90s, wasn't he? I remember hearing about him in middle school.
Is he still doing stuff? Is he still big?

Suge wasnt a rapper.

He managed different acts, produced music and was affiliated with the major acts of Death Row..cats like Snoop amd Tupac. He kind of like an atagonistic west coast version of P. Diddy at the time. The difference was he was known for doing some gangsta shit and was involved with some real street business.

While Diddy wanted to rap and be on stage( which paved the way for many other producers to do the same), Suge was more comfortable pulling the strings off camera. He even famously dissed Diddy at an award show for his over the top antics and dancing which stole the spotlight from his own artists.

These American gangs…why don't they use military tactics and weapons on each other? I.e. sniper rifles and proper military formations etc.

It's what I'd do if I found myself transported into the body of a gang leader Smile

I used to ask myself the same questions at the beginning of my police career. And a very few do that and are professional, but it's rare. You've got to get into the mindset of how damaged these kids are, a complete lack of functional role models etc.. To them, being a member of their gang or whatever IS the elite badass thing they're aspiring to be and answers all their problems. For them to actually TRAIN in anything to better themselves would be antithetical to this because it's admitting that simply being a member of their gang, hanging out on the corner, committing antisocial acts without fear of consequence, and getting caught and going to jail frequently is the ultimate pinnacle of manhood and baddassery.

You come from a fighting arts background, so I'm going to give an example from that. A couple of young kids came to my old boxing gym. It's pretty fundamentally obvious to anyone on the street that boxing is pretty damn useful if you live a life of violence. They said they had done some boxing, and a coach asked them how many fights they had, and their eyes glazed over, there was a pause, and then one of them said "I'm in a gang". They didn't stick around. The hard work, discipline and daily humbling yourself is completely against the lifestyle and mindset of most gangbangers. And if you do manage to put in the work and transform yourself into someone that can do these things, you frequently either fall out of gang life, or play it at a higher level (where you're not just hanging out and getting caught all the time).

Similar things happened when gangs started pushing their guys to go into the military to get combat training. Joining the military both changed who they were and opened there eyes to just what a stupid dead end their old lifestyle was. Some did take their training to street life but they were rare, and they still have to deal with the liability of the stupid undisciplined knuckleheads they work with.

That's a quick list of their weakness, but they've got their strengths too. There is a lot to be said for both Darwin and practical experience. There is a lot of pre-confrontational fight stuff that they're realty good at that's almost impossible to learn in the gym. You've all heard the story of the good ring fighter that got sucker punched and lost to some street fighter. They don't realize it's not just a matter of avoiding that one sucker punch, most people are averse to violence, especially in terms of throwing that first punch, and a lot of these guys are experts at creating and extending these pre-fight confrontational situations. Even if another ring expert is tactically minded enough to avoid that same sucker punch, the pre-fight expert just extends the confrontation to give him endless opportunities and distractions for a different sucker punch. A lot of other stuff they're good at too, but it's a little off topic and I don't want to draw it out too much.
