Very true. RVF really is an amazing exception. Try to express an opposing point of view to the progressive agenda in a Western academic environment. Shit, I'm talking about IVY LEAGUES. They will ridicule you or shut you up one way or another. Think about that for a second. The world's most elite institutions are more repressive of opposing perspectives than an online forum.

I think you have to keep an open mind, to have the capacity to explore a number of different opinions and points of view. Being open minded and being naive are two different things and its important to make the distinction. Being able to think critically, to analyse your sources of information is a precious skill that is unfortunately disappearing. Open mindedness often leads to enlightenment, especially when looking at things from a global perspective.

This observation of how we interact on RVF is proof enough that men who are comfortable with themselves and have opened their minds to red pill thought learn to work together and respect each other for the most part. There's no doubt in my mind it's the superior way.

Try reading some forums dedicated towards SJW topics, feminism, or other far left garbage. It's full of angry little simpletons backbiting and non stop drama from people trying to one up each other. The censorship is wild too. I suspect it comes from a place where there are are vast feelings of inferiority bubbling to the surface from people who are emotionally crippled.

I try to expose myself to different points of view by reading them in print or online. I'll read books and blog posts by people and about people whom I don't necessarily agree with but whom I think are smart. Examples include Paul Krugman, Judge Posner's more recent writings, etc.

I definitely live in a bubble so I rarely get exposed to wildly different opinions in most areas of interest. Of the last 10 people I've talked to or hung out with, 8 of them were within 5 years of my age, all of them were in the top 1% of income (at least for their age group) - the two oldest were multimillionaires, all of them had Ivy League or Ivy-caliber degrees.
