In Asia, yes there is hope , in LatAm, yes also - providing you are gifted and/or have read and put to good use Roosh's books -, but, in Europe.... Age-gap tolerance in Europe shrinks by the year, game or no game! Even in EE, a 15 years age-gap is a death sentence, unless you're the king of night-game, a salsa teacher or some!

Game only goes so far, and older guys realize this. It is great when you are 22. But as you get older, unless you are wealthy, your options diminish, unless you want a single mother or a woman that remained single due to being difficult.

You're generalising about 35+ year olds and applying your personal experience to the whole group.

I frequently get unsolicited IOIs from hot under 25 year old women, I'm 41.

Game and self-improvement is even more necessary as you get older.

I don't think a 35+ section is necessary, it is easy to filter information.

I get lots of IOI from women that age as well. I look to be about 27. I have eaten healthy since graduating college and started lifting weights in high school and never stopped. It has paid off.

I don't know how it would go for me if I tried to get with a woman that young though. My guess is most would freak out because their friends wouldn't approve and after a month or so she would flake out. A few might stick around. Not that I care, the less I have to do with women in the USA, the better.

But my point is that there is a big difference in how young guys view life and their solutions and their problems and older guys. I'm not saying we need separate forums, but the response that I responded to is what the original post was talking about. I was just standing up and agreeing that in the western world women are taught that guys much older than them is now a social taboo. Game or not, women are social creatures, and if their friends are against it, you have one hell of an uphill battle on your hands.

Although age isn't a guarantee of wisdom it is good to know what perspective people are posting from. I have been guilty of disagreeing with peoples posts only to later find out their age and realise they are coming at things from a different angle.

Word. Even the young cats i work with look at me as if i have two heads when i say some shit they they think is far out and the outcome is as i predicted. For instance, me showing them sexy pics of female co-workers on the internet for the whole fucking world to see (young punks called me a stalker) and then run into said chicks and tease them about their choice of outfits and cheesy cliched poses in front of jaw dropped young punks who can't comprehend why said chicks are blushing, laughing and punching me.

That's the one thing that would feel VERY weird about getting with a younger woman is if you have a daughter and you are a dating a chic that's the same age or younger than your own daughter. That's gonna feel awkward as hell. Anyone that says they'd at least not feel a little strange about it must be lying. I think that would be my cutoff point if I had kids. No girl that younger than my kids.

I would suggest it's best we don't, particularly for the old guys.

One of the best ways of keeping young and feeling young... is to interact with young people, by coming to terms with their level. It's that approach that benefits older guys.

Start an over 35s section, and there is a chance the interaction becomes paternalistic, losing the benefits young people offer.

Any advice about knees and the like can be offered with the disclaimer "I'm 4x years old, and this is my take".

This place work markedly well considering the diverse classes of people, and its due to a hierarchy based solely on merit, earned by value.

It's very easy to subconsciously slip into hierarchy by age.

The forum is engaging because every thread is full of every walk of life, age, socio-economic status. I want to learn as much as I can(trends, slang, etc) from the young bucks if I am approaching girls 10-18 years younger. I feel like this has already been accomplished with older guy threads.

I agree with NOT having an over 35 section. The factors that ideally unite any red-pill man are:

0. Have goals for your life. Work toward them.
1. Engage in work that is meaningful to you or allow you to achieve your goals.
2. Educate yourself, whether or not you're in school (especially if you are - god help you! ).
3. Challenge yourself. Take motivation from here, meet members IRL or other apparent red-pill men.
4. Game. Fail. Learn. Adjust. Game. Succeed. Game.
5. Game where you are, be honest about your strengths and weaknesses. Emphasize your strengths first then work on weaknesses second.
6. Travel extensively to a place where your look and style are in demand. You'll find it easier to game there. You'll still make mistakes. Learn from them.
7. Relocate part-time or permanently if needed.
8. Never lose sight of your mission, which will not be banging women.

I went to a wine bar last night that had a salsa night. It was cool to watch folks having a blast, lots of women standing around waiting for guys to talk with them, noticing IOIs from women. I was there solo to practice being comfortable showing up at a place. One cool couple bought me a beer after we talked a bit. Part of me feels bad for not doing any approaches. Yeah you can chastize me for that. I used to never imagine walking into a bar or club solo and now I can do it comfortably. That's a big change for me from just 2 years ago. I realized I do want to get back into ballroom / Latin dance and feel comfortable soon as the music turns on. So I looked up local classes for salsa lessons. Refreshing and improving my dancing skills will also be an asset for the kind of women I'm interested in meeting overseas. Even bad dancers were rewarded for their efforts. Show up and make an effort, the world will respond! Don't ask for everything on a silver platter.

I am also applying 'there is no box' ideas to advance my business, thinking of new ways to make money by providing more value. Read Paul Arden's It's Now How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be.

The idea of "age is irrelevant" applies particularly to guys. You really are as old as you think, feel, act, eat, dream. Why is it that men can still sire healthy babies late in life while women usually have major issues by late-30s? But we still have to take care of ourselves inside and out. 4 years ago in my mid-30s I had a 20 year old (9+) in love with me. I wasn't even trying to get her, just joked a bit and invited her to join my buddy for lunch. She did and it went from there.

He on the other hand is the same age as me and has a 200+ lb girlfriend (he's taller than me but quite out of shape), would be a hottie if she lost the weight - he met her that way. He used to work out but stopped. Encouraged her to join him but she wouldn't. Years ago took many classes toward being a personal trainer but it worse off and he still eats badly (carb crazy). I know he didn't say it outwardly, but he was jealous of my ability to flirt with this girl and have her interested in and having sex with me.

Don't be that guy.

Short story: there was a guy who used to work for me, early 20s, in school, former ROTC. We developed a good camaraderie but I was his manager and he reported to me. I saw a lot of myself in him and shared red pill ideas with him, Patrice O'Neal, motivational authors, TED talks, etc. He worked out a lot and was built like a running back but was still shy. Never approached girls at the supermarket, etc. He wanted to look strong but his attitude was weak.

So one day this kid tries to tape a paper sign on my back while I'm typing at a computer. At my shop. MY SHOP. The FUCK you're going to do that, punk! Instinctively, I jump out of the chair and grab him around his waist, lifting his >250 lb mass to the point he flailingly grabs for the nearest work bench to brace himself on. I end up with one leg totally off the ground and could trip him if I wanted. There were a few other guys in the shop and everyone stopped to watch.

The kid: "Damn, umm, were you a wrestler?" (he used to wrestle)
Me: "Nope."

I let him down. He never messed with me after that. I could also out run him on a 5 mile bike sprint. Again, I'm no pro but having seen my Dad die (prematurely, IMO) at 76, I won't make the same choices that took him down that path. The biggest choice is negative thinking and being a victim of circumstances. God rest his soul, I miss that man but I thank him for providing all the examples, training and love he did. Couldn't have asked for better.

Age is no excuse. Use your experience, find your motivation and get the job done. This is the place to assist you.

PS Take DHEA or get on a medically-approved T-enhancement plan (MikeC and others know all about this) if you need to get your mojo back.

The suggested solutions on this topic will vary by age. For example, I was a competition powerlifter for several years. I peaked at a 600lb squat, 515lb dead lift, and 385lb bench. - 45 year old: a) go get an MRI immediately, if you need to get it scoped, do it now while "young" and it will heal quickly, b) squats may be over, but here are a number of other things you can try...

This is not to say I don't value the input of all age ranges (hell, I read a ton of Roosh and CMQ and both younger). It is just my opinion that most of us "older guys" are more likely to stay silent on topics where we know the majority (whereby the majority of the forum is under 35) will not understand the viewpoint. The over 35 crowd is more likely to take a view of "these guys will just need to learn the hard way" and stay silent as opposed to trying to argue with those that are sure they are right (I just think y’all miss out on some potentially good feedback that can be used later on).

My conjecture on this point is really just based on reflection of my own self. On the topic of knee pain, at 25 I'd for sure have said "fix your form" or "push through". So, no disrespect is meant.

Although I'm using an example around knee pain and squats, it is just an example. I think this applies across the board, and specifically with game. Example: if you are over 35 and rolling a nice lifestyle and refuse to buy a girl a drink because it is "beta", you are in for a rude awakening. I'm not saying be "beta bucks", but buying a chick some drinks (or a meal) when you are clearly killing it will just make you feel awkward (put the chick aside, I'm talking about you). If you want to hold your ground on this point and go "dutch" at 25, knock yourself out. At 35+???…(again, depends on your lifestyle here).

For the moderators: check out bodybuilding.com and their “Over 35” forum section. Not only is it popular with good info, but young posters ask questions all the time knowing they are highly likely to get some advice from “old dogs”. So, it is indeed for everyone, but the information often steers towards “what do I do down the road”.

Good idea...I'd always pop-in there to read things and prepare myself for the future...

Obviously if you were lifting those kinds of numbers you were training that way for years and then did a 180 with crossfit.

I think your body can adapt easier from endurance type training to gradual heavy lifting then from your power lifting to GPP.

Crossfit hurts people a lot.

I've had my share of injuries from it.

As an "over-35" guy, I think this idea has merit. I sometimes want a fellow old-dog's perspective on issues. That said, sometimes.....the youngsters have good perspectives too and I welcome their perspective.

FWIW, Cross-Fit fucked up my knees and shoulders too. Three years later, I got back into lifting heavy iron and my knees and shoulders are doing fine. I squat three times a week and deadlift one or two times a week without incident.
