First off, good for you getting those two girls. I spent a 9 days in Calgary for Stampede and came up totally empty.

Secondly, I think alcohol can be a useful thing in moderate use. It doesn't substitute for poor game and can even make game worse in some instances. I do find that drinking can help with pulling some girls whom you wouldn't "click" with in a more sober state, so it's not totally ineffective.
