Female athletes too fit to get pregnant
Whilst I'm the first to applaud a girl taking care of herself and being in shape, it's been revealed that what we suspect to be true, is - that women are better off just eating less and being moderately in shape.
There's a lot of scientific evidence, as well as common sense of course, that delaying pregnancy and/or over extending yourself is harmful for child bearing, yet modern feminists wilfully ignore or bash the stats.
A telling quote from the article:
Quote:Just this week, tennis player Gigi Fernandez admitted publicly that she had seven failed fertility treatments before conceiving with her partner, and doctors blamed it on her athletic career.
The winner of 17 Grand Slam doubles titles before she retired number one at the age of 33 in 1997, Fernandez was told her eggs were told old.
"It was crushing," Fernandez told the New York Times. "I felt almost like I wished I would have never played tennis."
"As an athlete, you have this attitude, 'I can do anything with my body,'" she said. "That's how you think. So your biological clock is ticking, but you're in denial."
They're even calling for the wrath of modern feminists by saying:
Quote:The best quality eggs are in 20-year-olds
Yeah, no shit. Problem is, they can carousel ride until 38 by freezing them.
The advancement of science is going to be absolutely cruel on low SMV/blue pill men. Men like Chris Gethard, who do exactly what society tells them, to the point of telling others to follow, yet feeling unsatisfied and not knowing why.
In regards to the athletic stuff, and delaying pregnancy in general, a guy I follow on youtube says:
Quote:This really is a product of a sick society that cares nothing for anything but personal, short-term gratification.
This is just another way for cultural Marxists to destroy western civilisation, by turning women into barren wastelands that are too narcissistic to give a damn about keeping the cycle of life going, you know, the one that got them here in the first place.

That is extreme and wrong.
Your penis was designed by natural selection to ferret out the most fertile women. The collective erotic preferences of men are a pretty good guide to optimal fertility, without more direct evidence.
Female athletes often have very low levels of body fat, to the point where they are uglier and less feminine for it. Fat doesn't offer much enhanced athletic performance, and just slows the athlete down. I'd bet that athletes with healthier, prettier body fat levels would have greater fertility. Also, casual, recreational athletics are a much different beast than elite competition. Conflating the two ignores the vast difference in physical stress between them.

I agree and I think that the realm of ultra low body fat is pretty rare even among female athletes. For example, I think there is enough jiggle in michelle jenkins to get pregnant...and correspondingly I don't think anyone would declare "she is too ripped" in revulsion

RE: Female athletes too fit to get pregnant
In one of the threads in the Lifestyle subforum, I forget which one it was, someone posted that too much aerobic exercise increased cortisol levels too much. Which was a result of Adrenal fatigue. Which of course causes hormones disruption low or high test, estrogen, progesterone, etc. If that would affect men it has to affect women too. I posted something about this in that other IVF story thread yesterday that is somewhat related to this except it was mostly centered around birth control pills instead.
I feel like maybe, humankind is just a few more years away from a groundbreaking increase of knowledge on hormones. Not so much how to manipulate them more with stupid pills, but a much much better understanding of how important it will be to maintain the proper balance of them and why. I know we are close I can just feel it. I wish stuff like what we know now was available when I was in my early 20s.

I agree. I've been able to do some astounding things with my own body by simply supplementing things like ZMA (zinc magnesium), GABA, and melatonin. I have the most intensely restful nights and wake up consistently every day. Sleep is so important .
I believe the problems we see today from obesity are the result of a lot of little things adding up. Almost like death by a thousand cuts. A sedentary lifestyle, poor eating habits, and poor vitamin and mineral uptake all combined together to make a creature unfit for being in a bathing suit.
As for women having kids too late, well yeah that sucks.

Is it true that most multivitamins bought at the store don't provide enough...well vitamins?

Yes - check out good producers like Swanson, Now Foods, Awesomesupplements, Youngevity, Mercola etc.
What is good?
- no toxic ingredients
- high doses according to orthomolecular medicine - low doses don't work
- working active highly absorbable vitamins and minerals (instead of toxic ones as used by some major companies)
- best avoid companies owned by pharmaceutical companies - they have diverging interests and they own over 80% of all major supplement companies (there are many ways to control the competition)
I will be doing a complex datasheet on supplements which are based on orthomolecular science (basically all good ones are based on it).
Can't wait! A good list will go a long way towards getting stuff with good purity and not full of cornstarch and other bullshit.

Fair enough, perhaps I should have worded it differently. I like athletic looking women, but that's achievable with far less than hardcore athletics. As you said.

RE: Female athletes too fit to get pregnant
She shot herself in the foot retiring at 33. Tennis is such a taxing sport that for women they peak at around 18-20 and flame out by 23-25. Their elbow or knees with give out and slow them down considerably to the point they have to quit.
This girl by playing doubles could essentially "doubled" her career time (only half the court to cover and essentially half the wear and tear on your body, many eager and still thirsty singles players move to doubles when they slow down with age) and completely closed the already small window she had to use any of her healthy eggs. The same thing will happen to Serena Williams whom is pushing her career way longer then needed at 33, having been playing professional tennis SINCE 1995, almost 20 years. Maria Sharapova is in danger also at age 27, whom has been playing pro since 16 years old. Some advancements in technology have helped prolong women's (and men's) tennis careers but it's really only a few more years and not likely at the elite levels to win grand slams and prestigious tournaments with the big pay days with any consistency. For the elite ones like Sharapova she is basically just cashing cheques by still playing but let's hope she has some eggs on ice because she has likely burned through them already.
This girl profiled is on the extreme end. I actually favor most female athletes in non-team settings (elite dance, ballet, tennis, etc). They peak early, retire early and if they were successful can have a steady life just coaching or consulting and being a mother for the majority of her time. A typical female tennis player is retired by 25 and if she had any amount of success will have a good money like saved up and she can chill and just have a family. It's more ideal then the typical feminist gambit of being a wage slave, ride cocks, get fat, and marry when your 37 and want kids.
