I feel bad for the kids of today. They don't have a real outlet where they can just read laugh at some silly gay jokes or look at a pair of breast without being ironic. When I was a kid I loved getting my gaming magazines and comic books because it was like having my own little world where I could enjoy all the stuff that I wasn't supposed to. Had I been younger when Cracked was big I'm sure I would have eaten that stuff up too. Some of their older articles, I've only seen a few so I'm no expert, are pretty enjoyable. It is a true shame that the site went downhill so fast.

Dude I used to love cracked because they blew my mind and had articles like "the 5 most badass presidents" which made you rethink old truths.

The Onion is generally pretty on target. Every once in awhile something goofy slips through and causes everyone to question it, but remember that the seed of humor is uncomfortable truth.

Furthermore, they're not exactly a bastion of RP thought by design. They're a humor website, so propagating RP thought isn't in their demense any more than propagating shitty feminist thought is Cracked's job. Unfortunately, Cracked seems to think it is, and their brand is suffering as a result.

I use to listen to the Cracked podcasts until they became painfully PC. The one that killed it for me was their "Tipping Point" podcast. They went on at length about how all kinds of things can reach tipping points from which they never recover, ocean fishing for one. But they did an about face when discussing the MSM's effect on teh gey mirage support. Suddenly government and media support in pushing an issue became a good thing.
