It makes me so sad that Bill Maher wastes his comedic talents fighting for Democrats and Liberals. I think his disgust for religion and the people who represent it is so deep that he just can't help but align himself with idiots.

Every once and a while he goes off script and I can feel free to laugh with him.

My favorite part of the video was how it was misogynist to hold the wrists and to slap a woman... who's trying to kill you. That's actually chivalrous.

According to the AP, 530 Palestinians have been killed over the past few days in the Gaza conflict. Many of those are children and innocent civilians. I don't think that calls for a joke on Twitter.

Israeli leaders like to say that Hamas uses civilians to hide rockets, but judging from the military campaign, that logic seems to be an excuse to attack civilians in Gaza.

I think he has to align himself as a liberal since his humor puts him on thin ice with the politically correct. Think about it this way, if Eddie Murphy or Chris Rock weren't black their routines wouldn't go over quite so well.

By nature American culture is self absorbed and ultra competitive. Every group in the U.S. views its agenda as paramount. It's treated as a zero-sum game where if you want to go higher on the social hierarchy pyramid you must step on another person to get there.
